yeah i belive him that he filmed some scenes. maybe 5-10 scenes. bu not the whole movie. 10 scenes are nothing in a big blockbuster like this.
for a studio its also a waste of money when they already know the rating.............well fans think that the studio is waiting to make the decision 1 month before the premiere. but this is not how this works.
you know it was also a rumor/lie that Bay and ILM were working on the effects hours before the premiere. and Nolan also didnt edit TDK in june .
Fox knew what rating they would use for the theatrical realese.

I just personally feel that you guys are waaaay too excited for a movie that doesn't have much going for it. I think this will be a letdown. I don't want it to be, but that's the direction I see it taking.

It has one of the best directors at the helm, some of the most unique visuals seen in recent film, a classic film (Alien) as a basis, and 2 great actors (Charlize Theron and Michael Fassbender). TOTALLY doesn't have much going for it!
If you think it'll be a let down, that's understandable...but this movie certainly has a lot going for it.
edit: DACrowe beat me to it, hehe
