Questions/Suggestions for Tim Story (Post them here!)

I was really hoping they'd go this direction...the Baxter building this super-high-tech lab just like in the comics...the Fantastic car (I wonder if it has dimensional portal properties? or will have?) Doom and Galactus and the Surfer...it's perfect. I couldn't be more pleased.

This probably been suggested before but a two hour JESSICA ALBA NUDE SCENE would be awesome.

cool, thanks... so, the ultimate silver surfer doesn't... uh... surf? he flies?

and galactus is an alien fleet or something?

weird.

i think the 'classic' galactus would look hokey in a movie, and an alien fleet would be more convincing, i think they should find a nice middle ground, though. maybe galactus can look classic, but be the size of a normal guy, and like, command a fleet of ships with AI or something? he can be more like braniac from superman?

i don't know.

^ Kind of like a sentinent Death Star. If anyone here read the Rai comics from Valiant they had a cool character like this, as was the mainframe in Matrix Revoloutions. They might have to go this route because having a giant purple man floating around in space would be awkward. I don't see how one could relate to it on the big screen or have it interact with the other characters without it seeming very corny. It works great on 4 color comics but on film it's just might not be meant to be. In either case people are gonna call it a Transformers rip off when it's really the other way around. LOL

If we can have giant monkeys, we can have giant aliens, I am sorry. They bought Kong, they'll buy this.

lol, I think this thread has lost its meaning...

i agree with almost all of that. most everything except for the transformer part, although that could definately happen.

Not a bad idea:up:

Looking at that pic of USS i hope they don't use that design:(

I want giant Galactus, if done right with good cinematography it can look really epic and intimidating

I'm a bit confused on ultimate Galactus are the ships manned by a person? or are they one core mind thing? Can someone explain this?

Not really. It is more than believable that an alien could be Galactus' size. Audiences would buy it. I think too many people are drinking the studio Kool-Aid on this one. People have believed some strange things in movies.

Like believing that a woman who works with a man will be unable to recognize him once he takes off his glasses and puts on a red cape?
lol.gif

I think, with films like this, people get too concerned with what is "believable".

. . . NONE of this is believable. The key is the filmakers have to take these unrealistic powers and situations but keep the characters real.

They pulled off a man stretching in the first one. If they can do that, they can do anything.

These arguments are getting really tiring.... no one has said anything about suspension of belief. Thats not what we see as the problem.....Its a comic book movie.....WE GET THAT.....that is a big, huge DUH, and its almost as if with this argument you are saying.....hey stupid its a comic book movie......I know that......you suspend belief in almost all movies out today.....

I DO NOT THINK THAT FOX CAN DO IT PROPERLY AND IT WILL END UP A HUGE LAUGHING STOCK TO THE AUDIENCE.........

We have simply turned 2 threads into the same debate....

These arguments IMO are an insult to my intelligence...:o

I think the important thing to remember is. Galactus will have to go through asthetic changes, alot of asthetic changes. Not changing to a fleet. But having a huge dude walk through the streets of New York like they were a maze would be hard to pull off. I'm not saying look real, good CGI could make it look real, though to make it look very real, you'd have to cover up his face completely and show no skin.

Kong is different from Galactus. Kong is an ape. Transformers are giant robots, etc etc. Galactus is humanoid in form. Like I said, not making him a fleet or some **** like that. but asthetic principles will have to be changed to make it work with keeping the core the same.

Just this type of argument on the other side of the debate......the comparison is not correct.....Spaceballs was supposed to come off funny, cheesy, etc....thats the type movie it was....so to compare it to further your argument IMO, is not the same thing.
