Yeah, that really was a smack in the face to all the wrestlers on ECW like RVD and Sandman. It's like damn, none of you were good enough to be champion so we had to bring on someone from a different show!
Sandman has held the title a ****load of times in the past, and RVD already ****ed up his title reign. Not every ECW Champion should be someone who was involved with the original ECW. No one would complain if Punk had won the title, and Punk was going through puberty and was a backyarder during the days of the original ECW.

Good RAW last night. Not great by any means, but good.

Enjoy the twist of Eugene. It's Heelarious!

Torrie Wilson can't get any hotter! And did you guys see the strap on her top break when she kissed Carlito? (I wonder how Billy Kidman is feeling right now?)

Good heel win by Edge & Orton & co. They need to keep that kind of momentum to avoid being squashed.

But the moment of the night for me was the Cena/Umaga feud. I watched closely and Cena is no 'Rock' or 'Austin', but last night's feud with Umaga was VINTAGE WW'F'! I LOVED how many times they were pulled apart and kept going; I was laughing and marking out at the same time!

Cena is nowhere close to rock and stone cold.

in fact, Cena is WWE..(worst wrestler ever)

Still, to bring in someone completely new and automatically he wins? Just seems kinda unfair. I agree, Punk would've been preferable.

The Pro Wrestling Torch is reporting that while Paul Heyman has been removed from his role with WWE as a creative writer for the ECW brand with David Lagana, it remains unknown at this time if his deal with WWE will be bought out or if he will be paid the duration of his contract.

So, at this point, a jump to TNA (which may not even happen for all we know - and that is even saying if TNA is interested) might be out of the question. It is no secret that many within WWE felt Heyman was only kept on board under a deal at times with the company (even when he wasn't being used) to prevent him from going elsewhere to compete.

I'm glad you weren't speed reading or anything, so that you might misinterpret what I was saying...oh wait!

I'm no Cena mark by any means, but since you're responding as if I am, I might as well take your point and BURY it!

That's a JOKE of a statement b/c I can name 20 wrestlers who shouldn't even be allowed on TV if we're going by in-ring skills, and NONE of them would include John Cena.

First one that comes to mind is another "Champion" (how about that?)
...Dave Batista

There is now "tremendous heat" on Rob Van Dam for refusing to go on the annual Tribute to the Troops trip for the second time. Technically, because the WWE can't guarantee the safety of the performers in a war zone, and considering that they are independent contractors, they can't be forced to go. However, there is an unwritten rule in WWE that if you're asked to go, you go. His refusal to go on the trip explains RVD's lessened push in recent weeks. Before he refused to go on the trip, the plan was to do a slow build for a Lashley vs. RVD for the ECW title program in 2007. Plans may or may not have changed, but it wouldn't be surprising if they did.

NMB sent in the following report in regards to meeting Tommy Dreamer after Sunday's ECW PPV ... I talked with Dreamer briefly after December To Disappoint tonight. He hung around after the show and there was a small crowd of people coming up to him pissed off. I asked Dreamer if Sabu not being there tonight had anything to do with him leaving ECW. He said "I don't know for sure, but it's probably the case." I then asked if the rumors about RVD leaving are true and he didn't say yes or no, just "Him and Sabu might not be the only ones, man." Then I asked if December To Disappoint was the final bullet in the head for ECW and he told me "ECW's been dead, I'm now realizing it. The only part of it still alive are you guys." Then we shook hands, hugged and he said "I'm sorry."

As previously reported on ECW.com, Paul Heyman was sent packing by Vince McMahon on Monday afternoon, the day after ECW’s generally poorly received December To Dismember hit the airwaves.

The long-time creative force and face of ECW was technically the head writer of ECW, but like all of his peers he answered to and was edited by Vince McMahon. McMahon was always either somewhat or heavily editing Heyman’s scripts for ECW TV. The PPV on Sunday was said to be a collaborative effort, however it was heavily edited by McMahon even more than usual.

Several wrestlers were aware of Heyman’s original plans for the Elimination Chamber match, but by match time, they were given different plans from McMahon. McMahon made several changes late in the game, including Sabu being removed from the match, as well as CM Punk and RVD being eliminated so early. The reasoning behind this was so that people would be forced to cheer for Lashley.

While McMahon appeared to be satisfied with the results of the event at the end of the night, by the next day he was said to have realized how bad it was and that’s when the blame game begun. After a backstage meeting lead by Vince and Stephanie Mcmahon, Heyman left the arena without saying goodbye or announcing what happened to anyone. He immediately went to the airport and flew home.

I don't know, it's profanity??? If I'm going to have to censor the word f*gg*t, then I might as well sensor pr*ck.

Not only that, but I imagine she still looks pretty rough without all of that makeup and hairspray.

don't......don't say that:csad:*holds onto the dream*

Me personally, I can't understand why they couldn't find anything for Lashley on Smackdown. Hell, that show needs ALL the "name" stars they can get. If it were up to me I would move Shelton Benjamin and Carlito over to Smackdown so they wouldn't be continuosly(sp) buried by whatever fued Triple H decides to have that week. Carlito is a star in the making and Benjamin, with somemore experience could end up becoming the most athletic and explosive wrestler in WWE history.

Sounds like the WWEfeared what Heyman could do with another company's talent pool, like TNA.

Though if they feel he could stir the pot, why not let him have input on storylines and angles?
