Unlike him, I find McMahon to some extent entertaining.

It would be interesting if Kennedy wasn't the child and it turned out to be Cena. Thus pushing a Cena heel turn at some point, which would add freshness to his character.

I don't mind it being Kennedy as it elevates him into the bigger end of the show, if it's not him i hope it's a mid carder that can really benefit.

The problem is everyone is suspecting that it's Kennedy. It kind of ruins the surprise when audiences like in MSG, Chicago, or Detroit are acknowledging the possibility of it being Kennedy.

Anyone think of the possibility of it being CM Punk?

I hope it's Kennedy, CM Punk, or someone completely unexpected. Only in MSG can Kennedy get a huge face pop despite him being a heel.

Thing is, whoever it is(most likely Kennedy), they've got a lot to keep up with if they're going to keep the storyline going. So what happens in a few years when Vince's retires, will his new 'son' be the owner? This isn't the kind of storyline you can just abandon in a month or two if you don't like it. What if Kennedy was ever fired from WWE. Is Vince going to say "yes, I fired my son." A storyline like this is one that must last the entire time the wrestler is there.
