WWE has no business telling people what an appropriate way to act is with the absolute garbage they've conducted in the past close to 10 years.

I'm not sure I buy all of these reports about the backstage stuff with Punk. Sometimes these reports are either overblown, didn't happen the way they described, or possibly didn't happen at all.

I could see them being true,Punk is very like HBK,he's talented and has charisma and huge passion but is also cocky as hell and the passion brings out the perfectionist which could easily lead to the things described in the reports

In case anyone hasn't noticed, Punk is probably the second most over guy on the ECW roster. And every week he gets a bigger reaction their champion Lashley who the crowd has been mostly apathetic too.

For years Lita was portrayed as single and simply Matt Hardy's friend, then all of the sudden she became his girlfriend on TV. WWE seems to thrive on making real-life relationships and drama into dirty laundry on their TV shows.

Also in 2004, Edge was very much a roided-up freak, which I think he actually admitted to.

Punk was still a bit unprofessional, but at the same time, Vince overblew that.

In all the interviews I've seen Punk publically have, he was professional and showed total class.

No one cares whether or not the Divas are single.

I thought the new DX guy (if there would be one) would be Ric Flair. I couldn't see Carlito working as a DX member, Nitro would work if he wasn't a heel, and I wouldn't want to split London and Kendrick up.

I don't know what to think about the Punk situation. I'm not sure about what any wrestler is like outside of the wrestling environment (except for maybe Kurt Angle, who I'm almost positive is a total jerk).

Ya I never got that either. I've heard before that WWE likes everyone to think their Diva's are single. I think sans a few very delusional fans, most of us would never think that just by seeing a diva in her underware on TV meant we have a shot at getting with them in real life. I personally bet most Diva's get tired of wrestling fans drooling over them.

I look at Maria and think she's ****ing hot, but I never pause and think, "Hey I bet she's single".

Punk is an indie guy,i don't see anything big about putting Joe over 3 times or whatever you're referring to,The inides is chump change,it's a different world in the majors

Has CM Punk ever been a top guy anywhere where the pay is more than $600 a shot not millions ? has he ever risked being paralysed to put the next guy on top over ?
there is no case to make for a guy who's never been in the pressure cooker and the rest of the HBK stuff is DVDR retoric retold by bitter people that is about as easy to prove as the Punk stuff
