Sequels Recasting the X-Men for the MCU

Assuming they don't go for CGI with Beast, I think Benjamin Walker would make a good Hank McCoy. He's a physically big, talented actor, who could believably play Hank as someone who's both a former football-hero and a scientist. (I didn't like Hoult's stereotypical nerd take on the character. Beast is a jock, a brain and a class-clown, dammit!)

Definitely, definitely, definitely get me some stage actor goodness to play Hank. There's been a distressing lack of Shakespeare-quoting from Dr. Big-blue-and-hairy around these parts.

TIKA SUMPTER is still my first pick for Storm, next would be ANNA DIOP..& my third pick would be YAYA DACOSTA.

Ryan Destiny would be good pick IF they plan on starting off with a younger cast like we saw with Apocalypse.

I don't know if she speaks Southern U.S. but Michelle Mylett from Canadian comedy show Letterkenny would rock the Rogue look. She's the gal in the denim. This whole cast is pretty badass and they're sooo funny.

Thoughts on David Harbour for Wolverine? He can sell a character with a tough exterior but a softer, caring side and he's got the right kind of look if they want to go with someone more rough and scruffy rather than heartthrob bodybuilder. He's tall, but how important is it really that Wolverine be short? I think that people get way too caught up on that aspect of Woleverine's physique.

Wolverine's short stuff in the comics and it gets noted often. It contributes to who he is, which is why a lot of fans would like it that way. At least Colossus and Cyclops are supposed to be taller, right?

I'd like as short, rough, hairy and scruffy as possible!

tho I will always miss Kelsey Grammer, one of the best castings Fox ever did and sadly underused (not surprising)

That would leave someone like Witwer free to be Hank McCoy. His voice would also bring to mind Kelsey Grammar without being him. We don't really need Namor to sound like that.
