Hey Long time reader of SH and the boards but never really interacted before. I have been thinking about the MCU Storm and have been reading about peoples opinions and I came across one I havent seen much and would be a great choice.... Zethu Dlomo or Zethu Dlomo Mphahlele

If you have ever seen the great Black Sails show on Starz, she played Madi...

She can act, has an authentic African accent....(zulu I believe) and had a presence on Black Sails in an ensemble cast and lead both her people on that show and integrated with the main cast of Black Sails too as a leader...and she is still acting and is about 30 yrs old....

I think she would be great....

I’d prefer an X cast that has veteran and new class rosters, opening up the casting opportunities down the line.

Base it off Giant Size #1 & Mutant Massacre, replacing Krokoa with Savage Land (go big with X-Men fighting dinosaurs!). At the end of the movie, the surviving Morlocks find a new home at Xavier Academy. Post credits sequence teases Wolverine (either for a sequel or for a solo ft. Hulk & Weapon X)

IMO, bring the X-Men back with a solo film about Wolverine becoming a superhero. Patch Logan knows nothing of his past and works as a longshoreman in the Madripoor archepelago. He's confronted my a Russian vampire and a mysterious German ally who start making him recall events in Afghanistan from 40 years ago. R-rating since that's what the superior Director's Cut of The Wolverine had, as did the Academy Award-nominated Logan. The post credits scene is Logan heading over to the X-Mansion to see of Charles Xavier and Jean Grey can assist him more in learning about his past.

After seeing how much the main MCU cast got paid, we all know Disney could bring back the original X-Men together for one last film to close the Fox era, especially since big Marvel team movies like Avengers may be not happen in a long, long time. X-Men 5 separate to the MCU but made through Disney/Marvel.

It doesn't even have to be the entire cast and there are a couple of new characters they could intro like Gambit and Emma Frost! Lots of Sentinels and one last fight with McKellen's Magneto, the best there was!!!

What Joss Whedon did with her was pivotal! Marvel needs more x-men runs like that one.

I really like what Leah Williams has done with Emma too. I like what she said that Emma’s political view deserves as much attention and nuance as Magneto’s

Someone above mentioned Glen Powell as Cyclops and after seeing him in Set It Up last night, I'm totally down. I want the same X-Men line up as in the animated series (as that's the roster I grew up with) and for them to be aged 25-35.

Glen Powell or Armie Hammer have that perfect leading good guy quality of Cyclops. I could see either of them killing it as Scott.

I really like DeWanda Wise for Storm. She has such an interesting face that is very striking like Storms.

Jean you need an actress who can handle that role who could eventually have the Phoenix storyline. If Mary Elizabeth Winstead wasn’t in DC I would have picked her for it.

Luke Evans is definitely my hot favourite for playing Logan.

Jared Padalecki could be a good Gambit.

Maybe less known but Brian D'arcy James would be great as Beast.

Expensive actors will probably want a Fantastic Four role as opposed to an X-Men role. F4 usually has a 4 character roster (plus Namor, Silver Surfer and Doom perhaps? I'm not all too familiar) and X-Men could range anywhere from 6 to 20.
