Redlettermedia's Attack of the clones review will be uploaded any moment now!

Because I feel "Luca$ RAPED my childhoodz" crybabies deserve to be blasted at every turn.

But if your plan is to blast people in this thread who didn't like the movie, don't do it.

Everyone who talks about how bad the prequels were don't believe that Lucas raped their childhood. The people who do believe that are pathetic losers who need to get a life.

I hate that expression - mostly because I find comparing disappointment with a movie to a crime as vile as rape to be completely immature and downright offense. I disregard the opinion of anyone stupid enough to use that expression.

I grew up with Star Wars. The original was the first movie I ever saw in the theater, and the original trilogy are still among my all-time favorite movies.

I didn't hate the prequels, but I get frustrated at all the wasted opportunity they had to be so much better than what they were.

I kinda liked the prequels but thought it was weird how they're some of the highest grossing films ever and they're so notoriously disappointing to everyone from fans to casual film goers. Anyway, I find RLM's narration funny and he points out stuff I never really even paid attention to, like how the actual plots of the films don't really make any sense at all. I always just paid attention to the really loose character arcs and action scenes but took the "political intrigue" angle for granted. Glad I did now. It's terrible!

damn, Cartoon Network took down part one of the review. I just e-mailed Mike (Redlettermedia) to see if he'll reload it with a re-edited version. (Or just blur out the stuff that CN doesn't like or owns)

Cartoon network owns star wars now???? :woot: :hehe:

I remember Jon Stewart at the time referring to TPM as "the most popular movie of the year that nearly everyone hated." :funny:

Oh, that would be incredible.

These are some of the best, most thorough film reviews I've seen on the internet, of Star Wars or anything else. It's just awesome; I'd watch Plinkett review anything.

You see his Star Trek reviews? I don't even like ST & I loved them all. Plinkett is up there with AVGN & Nostalgia Critic in my books.:woot:

:csad:

George Carlin was right. The rights in this country aren't rights, they are privileges.

They will take it away if they felt like it.

On the forums at Red Letter Media it was just announced CN revoked it and they put the videos back up. So it seems they realized they pissed off half of their nerd fanbase. So no worries Red Letter Media lives on and it seems the Episode III review will commence.

I'm usually not really into the whole "internet nerd reviews movies/games" scene, because frankly, most of them aren't as funny as people let on. But I have to admit, this guy is f***ing godly. And funny to boot!

I felt the same way but now I just enjoy them for what they are . The action scenes can be fun to sit through most of the time.

Mr. Plinkett is hilarious to me. I think even if he bashed a film that i really enjoyed I could sit through it. I think he spoke for most of us about not being able to trust ourselves again because we thought AOTC was going to be good , lol.

Plinkett's reviews of the Star Wars prequels goes far beyond "Luca$ RAPED my childhoodz" or how Jar Jar Binks sucks, he actually goes down onto why the prequel films are poor films by dissecting the plot, the characters, and the aesthetic feel of the films in full detail.
