Well this turned to a very bad place in a hurry...

I need an adult!

Like everything in life, it always ends in gay sex.

Why do people congratulate others for changing their relationship status on facebook?

A friend of mine changed his and people thought it was a april's fool joke, but now all i've seen are people congratulation him as if he announced that he was engaged or something. I mean it's not like its his first girlfriend or something either, and he's not the first that I've seen this happen to.

I don't understand why people put so much stock into Facebook

I had no idea that was even common on Facebook.

Getting a girlfriend is a momentous occasion. Especially for people around here.

Cuz regular poon tang is always a good thing.

Be happy for your friends penis ya *****e. :o

"Congratulations on suckering a girl into believing you're someone she could tolerate for more than fifteen consecutive minutes, so that the possibility of steady sex actually exists."

Yeah it really is the 'regular poon' factor:woot:. It's hard not to be happy for a good friend when he got some.

The other day this old guy asked if I had a girlfriend. When I told him no he said, "Oh, so it's rosey palms at night for you, huh?". I replied, "haha, just cuz I don't have a girlfriend doesn't mean I don't have sex; it just means I don't have sex with one woman."

Old people are silly.

The thread...

It's alive! It's Ali-iiii-iive!

It's a personal decision. I personally wanted my own family not a ready made one. So when I was your age I wouldn't have went for it. Now that I have kids, if my wife and I ever were to split, it wouldn't matter to me. So you gotta think about what it is you want.

I'm 22, she's like....20? The kid is like 3.
I was like 20-21 and this girl I've liked for years had a kid and though we were just friends, bringing a child everywhere when you weren't even trying to be intimate is tough. I can't imagine trying to do this at that age when a girl was actually interested.

She has a different life and has someone dependent on her, you have to realize that you'll always come 2nd in this relationship.

Well, if you're willing to put up with all the boos**t that comes with ready made families, then you'd do best to find out. Instant drama either way.

I think me and Mr. Terrific are on the same page about being able to tolerate it better now. I mean as you get older, meeting women with children is more common.

Think of everything you like to do now in terms of dating, and her having to run home to check on the kid, or bringing the kid with you, or going to hang out at the bar with friends and she can't come.

I'm not saying it's not worth it, or you shouldn't do it. I'm just telling you what you should be prepared for.

Anubis brings up the point of the Baby Daddy and his family.

I don't think anyone here would begrudge you at 22 if you wanted to try your chances elsewhere but ultimately, it does throw a curve towards dating someone.

Yeah, you guys are right...

I mean, she's real cool and so is her daughter, she already told me that I wouldn't have to be "a dad to her".
