Very dissappointed that they're using The Lizard this soon. I was hoping for a villain like Electro in the first movie.

Lizard ain't confirmed yet. He could be Electro, Mysterio or Chameleon to name a few.

Why do places like this feel the need to post interviews from actors saying that they are excited? That was the most useless interview on the front page that I have read. I bet if you interview all the actors they would say the same thing and then you would have 3 front page stories. Also this just in...water is wet.

It's stupid that they didn't announce the villain. Every actor/director is always excited for these projects, or so they say.

He's been rumoured, and there was a subsequent rumour that Sony was looking for someone to play Billy Connors. So no, not yet, but he seems to be the most likely choice for whatever reason.

I kind of think they should have Electro in this movie, and have Lizard show up at the very end. That way, in the sequel, Lizard has a movie all to his own

While I feel all of your guys's pain, I've been waiting for The Lizard to rear his ugly head on the big screen ever since early 2000! Every year it was the same ********. Oh Raimi might be using the Lizard.

It's exhausting really. Getting my hopes up every single movie only to have it torn down. The Lizard is such a great/tragic villain that is really under appreciated. He is definitely one of Spider-Man's toughest foes and his potential is never really explored.

He has a lot going for him and I think the characters overall versatility could really add something memorable to this reboot. It would definitely be a great start! I'm tired of The Lizard not getting the attention he deserves. It always falls on either Green Goblin, Doctor. Octopus or Venom. All the main stream baddies.

Growing up it was always overwhelming to see all the merchandise that came out featuring the villains from the films. As my name implies, I'm a huge Lizard fan. Coming across comics/merchandise that features him is very few and far between.

This little lime light is more then welcomed!
