Do NOT have Spider-Man unmasked and have so many know his secret identiy. Keep that exclusive to a select few.

Keep the Action scenes at the level Raimi and Co. achieved in SM1-3, or better yet, aim to surpass them (at big goal to set considering the rumored budget).

All the action scenes in SM1-3 were outstanding, with the possible exception of the Macy Gray concert battle in SM1. This showed that most of Spider-Man's battles require CGI to me.

A quick way to alienate the fans is to skimp on the battle scenes.

Have Spider-man interact and talk to ordinary people, with varying reactions from people to him, some with hate and distrust, some scared, some fans.

Do not use any Ultimate villains...k thanks bye.

Keep the death of gwen stacy for the 3rd film, if you do in on the 2nd then you may not have a good story to surpass the 2nd

They could always do an adaptation of kraven's last hunt for a 3rd movie if Gwen is killed in the 2nd.

Yeah, but i really want the death to happen on the 3rd film, i never read that storyline but from what i heard of it, then it would be a good idea.

Tone down the focus on Peter's love life. No more "All about the girl" stuff.

Do have Peter Parker have a personality as well as not let there be a serious disconnect for when he is Spider-Man. We need the balance of Peter Parker AND Spider-Man, not just Peter Parker. :whatever:

I see the death happening in the 2nd film, titled Web of Spider-Man. The 3rd film, which could be a wrap, could end on a more positive note, with the enhancement of Peter and MJ's relationship.

I hope to see more of Peter just thinking out loud, conversing with himself... narrating along the way. You know what I mean...?

More Peter Parker from the comics...Less baby Parker from the Raimi films

Don't use anything in the first reboot that was used in any of Raimi's Spidey films. I love those films, but the reboot needs to be a separate entity with its own unique ideas.

Do show an origin (like in the beginning of TIH) to truly separate this movie from Raimi's trilogy

Lovin these ideas.
A few of my own:
-Have a decent amount of spider-man swinging scenes. Those are straight eye candy, so cool to watch. And if we're gonna get picky about it, have him get down closer to the ground at certain points, really interact with the environment. Flagpoles, cars, traffic lights, etc.
-WISECRACKS WISECRACKS WISECRACKS. And not corny wisecracks either, I want spider-man to be witty as heck.
-If you're gonna have Peter in high school, show the high school a fair amount and call it Midtown high.
-Aerial combat. Yep yep.
-Have peter read comic books maybe? I dunno, he's kind of a geeky kid and it'd be cool to see a poster of a Captain America or a Thor comic book in his room.
-Personally, I'd like it if both MJ and Gwen (assuming there IS a gwen) do not care in the slightest about peters existence up until the end of the film, when they see how peter has matured since the spider-bite. THATS when the attraction should start, I think. Very nitpicky I know, but I'd personally like that progression.

No more teasing or playing practical jokes and other childish immature antics on Peter by his peers when he is in college for crying out loud.

Excellent point. And something I want to see too. I think some very moving scenes and character development could come from this for Peter.

And brings to mind another point.. NO MORE SPIDEY DAY Parades.

Spidey should have his fans, but NOT the entire NYC.

At first I thought I did not want to see an Origin, but the more I think about it, I do want to see an origin. Preferably in Flashbacks. And preferably at Uncle Ben's funeral as one poster suggested a while back.

That could be very moving and powerful.

Agreed. I hated the scene in SM3 (I think) where the other kid flashed the light reflection in Peter's eyes. And like you said, that was in College too.

Spider-Man should definitely quip more than in the Raimi ones. But, he should NOT quip during critical battles with Villains, only during the initial battles.

A good point is Garfield (from what little I have seen of his work), seems much more "equipped" to deliver witty banter than Tobey was. A big plus in my book, and MUCH truer to the character of Spider-Man I grew up reading, and loving.

This

and

Have Gwen be Peters first love.

Make one of the movies based on Kraven's Last Hunt

:wow:

Am I dreaming?

Well I know I am dreaming :wow::wow:... one heck of a fantasy too, and guess who the "star" is.. STAR I SAY!!!!! :woot:

*faints*

*And wakes to the sweet smell of Daisy(ies)*

Man, this board's class level just moved up about 3 pegs. NOW, if this is REALLY Daisy, or my demented evil twin "Brother" (damn him, he got the looks from Mama, while I got the one way ticket on the train), playing one of his WELL KNOWN evil tricks. :cwink:

Good to see you (so to speak, remember it's MY FANTASY)... again.

Wow, Slag and Daisy in the same thread.

*Wipes away nostalgic tear*

Almost like the good old days.
