Ryan Reynolds Get Buried.

Yeah, if this fails at what it wants to do, it will just be about a guy in a box. But I hope it doesn't. Such a great idea shouldn't fail.

Kind of reminds me of Phone Booth, which had a lot of similar criticism before it's release. People were wondering how a movie about a guy stuck in a phone booth was going to be interesting and I thought they managed to pull it off. Though, granted, that movie had more characters to work with. Anyways, point is, sometimes people find ways of pulling off strange concepts. Sometimes.

Listen to you guys! Well, most of you, anyway. This is a guy taking a shot at something challenging, scary and totally original and half of you are condemning it based on one picture and a log line. I applaud anyone within the "Hollywood System" stepping out and taking a shot at something new and different. I just looked this up, but Reynolds movies this summer (The Proposal, Wolverine, and even Adventureland) have made a combined 356 million dollars in the US alone. He could do any movie he wants. Another romantic comedy, or another action film--anything. Instead, he travels to Spain to shoot a risky film that technically "shouldn't be done" because he wants to take chances.

I can't believe people have such a closed mind to this. Win or lose, I for one, can't wait to see it.

Buried gets posters

An unused poster that I prefer

Yeah the unused one is wayyy better looking. I like the font better too. The first one is fairly conventional.

This movie sounds really, really stupid.

And this is not so original as so many are trying to say. A one man show type of story made into a movie is far from being original.

Yeah but it's not often.

I like both posters but I like the first one more. It's more terrifying, in my opinion.

i dig the second poster, but it looks more like it would be the cover of a novel.

the title is not supposed to be cut off. If you go to the link you'll see it (and another unused poster). For some reason imageshack cut it off when I hosted it their

But the first one looks like a cheap scare kinda horror flick, while the second looks like its for a psychological thriller, which I believe the movie is supposed to be geared towards a little more.

To me the 1st poster is everything you said about the 2nd one. :hehe:

Oh well, I like both and I am looking forward to seeing this.

2nd one is too plain and has an indy novel look to it which s the wrong idea

Yeah, I can see why they chose the first. People wouldn't know exactly what it would be about. I do prefer the second one though. But the first does the job of letting people know what this is going to be about.

But I'm still looking forward to this.

I just talked to people that have read the script...oh my God. Dark doesn't even begin to describe this movie...

Read the script, if Ryan Reynolds can pull this off i think he could get a definite best actor oscar nomination.

People always go on about Reynolds just playing snarky frat boys. With this he is showing that he has got the balls to try something where the spotlight will be on him and him alone.

Reynolds is actually a decent dramatic actor, as seen in The Nines, Chaos Theory and Fireflies in the Garden.

And to just shrug this film off as "A man stuck in a box for 2 hours...boring!" shows a severe lack of imagination and immaturity to be honest.

And if someone could PM me the script I would appreciate it :D

I don't see the appeal of having a guy in a box for over an hour. Now if it's Ryan Reynolds stuck in a box with his hot wife ScarJo, then I'd watch it for 2 hours. :o

But to be fair, I do like Raiden's idea! :D Maybe just with Scarlett though, leave Reynolds out.
