Ryan Reynolds Get Buried.

The amazing trailer:

Pretty lame trailer, or at least an unimaginative one. The sypnosis is interesting, but judging from the quick teaser and the clip released a few months back, color me unimpressed. I know it's early to critique anything, but my money's on that a certain scene from Kill Bill vol. 2 will be much more terrifying than the entire length of Buried.

Isn't it this years official pick at Sundance? Everyone at /Film that saw it completely loved it and I'm kind of with them on terms of movies.

That trailer made me feel very uncomfortable. Maybe it's my inherent Claustrophobia acting up. Also, did the 911 operator think he was drunk/passed out? Kinda unrealistic

I saw the teaser today infront of NOES and alot of people thought the picture went out, cause all you heard was RR talking.

I loved that trailer. It was different. That's probably why.

Yea that trailer was wicked. Love the way it builds up with Reynolds sounding completely panicked... then the flicker of the lighter... ohhhh ****! he's in a ****ing box!

I think audiences who see it would be pretty intrigued by it.

Yeah, I loved its subtlety. Just that faint flicker of light only appearing for two seconds it was awesome. You can't do too much with a movie like this. He's only in a box. What else could you do?

Im pretty sure that all the movies that played at Sundance are "official picks"

Exactly, I'll let the intro of Exit Through the Gift Shop's trailer speak for itself.

I don't know why the trailer doesn't work for me; I'd probably like it if I wasn't familiar with the premise.

I hate mtv site, can never watch anything on it. :(

I wish someone would put those clips on youtube or something.

exactly, never works for me either. I saw the video with him in the coffin talking on the cell phone and whatnot, wasn't that great

the two trailers posted in this thread are just of his voice, no visuals, just a minute long pitch blackness and reynolds panicking.

that too, was a crappy trailer, as it was just the first one, only without the video

still waiting on a trailer that actually shows me something, I'm interested in this project. But they're failing horribly at making me hyped for it

What are they gonna show you? He's in a box for the entire film.

The trailer is just there to show the panic and utter horror of being buried alive. I think it works well if you imagine yourself in that position, which is the intention of the trailer.

Looks intresting. I'm not gonna dog it until i see it.

you're correct, guess I'm just looking for something I'm not going to get. Still interested in seeing the film, based on its premise alone. LOVE the idea of 1 actor trapped inside a box the entire film, I just hope I enjoy it

Yea it is a risky concept for sure. But a interesting one nonetheless.

The reviews it has got are promising though.

Thank God for that. It's the kind of thing that couldn't work at all if done wrong. At least the reviews are good so far.

But I'm looking forward to it. It looks a billion times more frightening than that Paranormal Activity ****.

I'm thinking this film is really going to take reynolds' career off in terms of getting more dramatic roles. I mean, he's basically acting by himself in this movie, if he can sell this, it'll be a brilliant performance.

People already have the misconception of Reynolds not having dramatic acting chops, it's just because they haven't seen him in his serious roles, which he is good in. But this will be the film that gets out there to the GA that shows this. If this succeeds, this will make people buy into the fact he's playing GL.

My theatre has posters up for this and I think it may attract people out of curiousity. The poster has no title or words really, it's all black except the bottom showing Reynolds in the box. Makes you have to walk right up to it, to tell what it is.
