[Why Are You Crouching Spock?]

I think the art direction is this is immensely better than Saints Row 2.
I love how colorful it is. As oppossed to that other murder simulator games, dirty brown.

The graphics in SR2 dont too good especially after all the years that have passed. Its definetly improved with 3. I downloaded SR2 and I was reminded exactly why I could never get into it and it was bc of the awful controls. I hated the combat in that game as well as how the cars controlled.

Yeah, SR2 is hard to get into. Everything just feels wrong after playing the infinitely better SR3. I'm enjoying the story and humor though, so that's keeping me going.

Yea, Saints Row 3 is alot better imo.
Awsome soundtrack as well. The skydive mission on the tower made me like Kanya West for about 2 minutes.

What do you mean no trophies in SR 2? There's heaps of achievements for it on XBL.

Also, SR 2 isn't that difficult, controls wise, if you've ever played the 2005 Punisher game. It's almost identical to that.

The PS3 didn't have trophies until after SR2 was released. Some games patched them in after the fact, but most didn't.

Very immersion breaking.

If no one has stated this yet there were many comic book similarities in this game, the hacker chick was like Barbara Gordon/Oracle, Killbane was like Bane and Oleg looked like the animated version of Kingpin from Spider-Man TAS. Also STAG's ship reminded me of the S.H.I.E.L.D. Hellicarrier. This game is epic!!!

I definitely noticed the Oleg/Kingpin thing because of the clothing, but yeah there were a lot of similarities.

I even modified the colors one of the superhero outfits to look like Deadpool, and all that was missing was the mask.

I made my character into Selina Kyle with the black skintight costume and short black hair. She's badass!

I made that Cate Archer from no one lives forever. Well sort of, the hair isn't right. But it's close enough.

Yeah, S.T.A.G. is meant to be a piss take of SHIELD. You character even makes a crack about the leader being a wannabe Nick Fury.

Alot of the missions feel more like something from mission impossible than a GTA game.
I love the intro when you drop the girl and plummet back through the plane again.

You're not wrong, that is awesome. I was playing that whole level in co-op with a friend and we were both bad ass superheroes... Made that whole intro kick ass.

My only complain with this game is really how easy it's been to compete everything. I got that season pass thing so I'm looking forward to some good DLC.

Yeah I rented the game and that airplane shootout in the beginning sold me on the game right away. Even though I finished the story by the time I sent it back, I knew I just had to buy it.

I made a relatively accurate Jason Todd (without the hood, just the face mask) and it made me realize that they should make a Red Hood comic where he plays a gangster/anti-hero. It'd be a good fit for him.

I just wish I could play two characters without overwriting my old character.

They got the Trophies right on this one. There's nothing here that's needlessly taxing like "Kill 500,000 bad guys" or anything. It's all stuff you want to do because it's fun.

You can do that with multiple characters, kinda. If you upload your favourite character, then download it from Saints Row online, you can easily switch between various created characters.

Picked this up today! Played up to clearing out the first crib, still getting used to all the mechanics and what not.

Can't wait to get deeper in.
