Sarah Michelle Gellar returns to tv in The Ringer

Could that be the [BLACKOUT]"ghetto girl" who hates her? [/BLACKOUT]

Turns out it was from TV Guide. These were the exact words:

I can't stand thinking of Jason Dohring as a rapist on Ringer. Please tell me that it didn't really happen! — Jessica

NATALIE: [BLACKOUT]It didn't really happen... or did it? You'll find out for sure after the New Year, but let's just say things aren't exactly what they seem between Juliet and her teacher. In fact, there's actually a third party involved.[/BLACKOUT]

Damn, things are even complex in the daughters arc lol, I'm now more intrigued than irritated by this strand of the show.

The season continues in January & will start playing repeats starting tonight, right?

Bah. The rest of the season just got pushed back. :cmad:

The CW will be making its biggest effort to date with the midseason fashion docu series Remodeled, which will blanket the CW schedule for 2 weeks in January and push back the returns of 91010 and Ringer. Remodeled, which will bridge the two cycles of Top Model, was originally slated to premiere in Top Model’s Wednesday 9 PM slot on Jan. 18, following an original One Tree Hill.

....

On Tuesdays, Remodeled will preempt Ringer, whose return with originals will be delayed by 3 weeks, from Jan. 10 to Jan. 31.

For real? As if I care that much about models? They are obviously doing this because of ANTM getting its best ratings in a while.

You ****ing kidding me, CW?

Thanks for... well.... NOTHING!

Okay, that's annoying. They leave on a big cliffhanger and now we must wait longer? Outrage, I say!

The show that caused Ringer to be delayed for 3 weeks opened to barely 700,000 viewers. FYI, that's less than H8R and that **** got canned after two episodes! This pleases me. :hehe:

I want the CW to succeed as much as anyone and I'm really hoping the new man in charge can turn the network around, but watching ****ty reality TV (that also happened to preempt a show that's really growing on me) utterly fail right out the gate is just such a joy.

That pleases me aswell though this new ANTM wannabe didnt really get that much promotion and is headed by a nobody really.

I don't know. Having had a break from this show for a few weeks while it was waiting to come back, now when I watch it again it just highlights the insanity even more.

Juliet didn't seem to want to make a big deal about the so-called rape. Does that suggest that she was indeed a victim? If she were making it up, wouldn't she try to broadcast it to ruin the teacher's reputation?

I'm not sure that Henry's question at the end will really be answered next week as to who Siobhan/ Bridget really is. It was probably more of a rhetorical question so not really a cliffhanger.

Since when do passwords show up when typed? Well most wouldn't. Usually they would be just asterisks. It seems more for the benefit of the audience to show it spells Siobhan.

And why was that waitress insulting the name Siobhan by saying "what kind of a name is that?"

IGN has this show on their list of probably getting cancelled after this Season due to low ratings. But I like it. Even if it is insane

If that's the case I hope they resolve all the plotlines soon and by the finale. I don't see it continuing for several seasons that's for sure.

I enjoy it, but if it were to not come back, I don't know that I'd really miss it.

That is certainly a lot of plotlines to wrap up :o

I would be surprised if this got cancelled. It is doing basically just as good as TSC/HoD. Plus 90210 is a horrible lead in, they are totally different shows.

SMG perving on SMG in the shower was surreal. :funny: Nice to see the inner Buffy come out as well when she punched rapey teacher man. This show is ridiculously convoluted but a kind of throwback and I like it.

She could probably do that a lot more if she just bought some mirrored tiles for the bathroom.

And yes, this show is about as convoluted as something like Sunset Beach which had just as much madness.

That is certainly a lot of plotlines to wrap up :o

I don't know. If Bridget is exposed, then that will probably wrap most things up very quickly. It would probably revert to the former status quo before Siobhan disappeared and Bridget showed up.

If this show does end & Bridget is exposed. I guess the only person most people would feel bad for is Andrew. He is as far as we know the only sane one out of all of this. I can also imagine that Siobhan plans on using Henry somehow & does not mean what she said to him

So in this week's episode, Bridget is starting to come off looking a bit silly not catching on yet that Siobhan is actually still alive. How many more clues does she need before she finally figures it out?

Looks like Henry is going over to the villain's camp.

And this series feels like it needs to finish by the end of the season. It just doesn't feel like it could be stretched out another year.

Just caught up tonight, seriously Muchacho is an FBI agent? how has he not twigged yet, he had one sister in front of him, surely a top FBI agent like him calls the house to see if Siobhan is there as well as he clearly suspects something. Also the stuff with the guy working for Andrew's company in France is very messy.

I get the feeling the younger FBI guy ordered the beat down of the bent cop as he's working for the big bad who's name I can't recall.

I'm not sure where the daughter's rape thing is going but I'm guessing the poor girl is going to become her new bestie! :D I also didn't realize until just now that the girl playing Juliet is the daughter of Mrs McFly!

That. Little. *****.

Yeah, I was beginning to warm to Juliet because she seemed to be changing, but in fact she was still a ***** all along. Her father helped her and believed in her, as did Bridget, and instead she was playing them. She did seem to show a pang of guilt or regret though when the other two were celebrating. I wonder whose idea it was to do that? Could those teenage girls have masterminded that or was it the teacher?

And Bridget still doesn't seem to be able to put two and two together and figure out that Siobhan is still alive. Even when Andrew said that she was distant earlier, Bridget didn't ask "when?" It's all a bit contrived to keep her in the dark all the time.

And is Knight Rider reporting suspicious activity to help out Siobhan or because he's turning on her?

The preview for next week did show one of the sisters being slapped by the other sister. Not sure if that was a flash back or present day. But those two have to meet & have a serious talk eventually
