Sarah Michelle Gellar returns to tv in The Ringer

Shame on you. Go watch some Veronica Mars. :o

I know I was like "I know him!"when I saw him on the screen.

Interesting move by Bridgette to leave her thumb print on the evidence. I hope they don't start up an angle with the daughter and her new teacher friend.

But the thing is that if somehow "Siobhan" gets her fingerprints taken, they'll know she's really Bridget. Or someone dusts for fingerprints at her residence or elsewhere (eg the loft etc), they'll think that Bridget has been there.

What was on in Ringer's place this week? Why was there a 2 week gap?

Repeats, one, so that it didn't get screwed over too much in the ratings due to the world series, and two, they aired repeats of the episodes already shown this week as counter-programming to the games in hopes of roping in some new viewers who missed it earlier in the season and still wanted to check it out.

Great ep tonight! They're sooo gonna pull a Nip/Tuck. That [blackout]baby is gonna be black![/blackout]

That seems pretty certain. I was waiting for a baby to show up on the screen and for Bridget's jaw to drop as the end of the episode. That would've been pretty great.

lol, I was thinking the same thing given all the lead-up with Bridget sleeping with Malcolm. I have to say that Malcolm is one cool dude, someone you would love to have as your friend. The mobsters tortured the hell out of him and he still didn't break. Wow!

The last episode was really great. I'm left scratching my head as to who killed Gemma, if she is dead. I love how they led you to believe it was Henry but now it doesn't look that way.

How is Bridget going to explain a black baby? Perhaps Andrew later reveals that he had black genes in his ancestry, just in time to save her. :whatever:

I was thinking that maybe Bridget has slept with Andrew already, but maybe will be thinking all this time that her baby is Malcolm's. She'll be expecting a black baby throughout her pregnancy and wondering how she's going to explain it. Then, when she goes into labour, she'll be dreading the delivery, until the nurse presents the baby in her arms and it turns out to be white and she breathes a sigh of relief.

Anyone reading this out of context could think this sounds very racist: dreading black babies and being relieved it's white...

Given that only a few weeks have passed since Bridget took over her sister's life, I'm pretty sure that **** will have already hit the fan by the time she gives birth. I think the secret will be out by season's end.

I think what could feasibly happen given the nature of this show is that Bridget gives birth to a black baby but Andrew isn't there at the time, and Bridget somehow swaps out the black baby for a white one. Then it will be history repeating itself all over again, with Bridget pretending someone else's baby is hers and Andrew's but secretly going to visit her real baby who is Malcolm's. So more identity replacement yet again.

Sometimes though, I get the feeling the writers are making this up as they go along, what with all the twists and turns. I wonder if they've really plotted this out carefully until the season's end or is it just a stream of consciousness method they're using and seeing what they can make out of each situation each week?

Gemma's father is coming to town on Ringer — but is this good or bad news for his daughter who was recently taken hostage?

Gregory Harrison, 61, has been cast in the recurring role of Tim Arbogast, the wealthy father of Gemma (Tara Summers), TVGuide.com has learned exclusively. Harrison, whose credits include Trapper John, M.D., Logan's Run and Falcon Crest, will first appear in Episode 13.

It's unclear what Arbogast's arrival means for Gemma's survival, but we hear he may have a connection to Martin/Charles, Andrew (Ioan Gruffudd) and Olivia's company.

Ringer airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on The CW.

I just got caught up. The show has some great twist, in spite of the less believable plot elements. Very entertaining, but it doesn't seem like the kind of show would last more than a season. It's like a telenovela.

I was really hoping that new Knight Rider would call out Bridget and that she would realize that Siobhan is still alive.

So they didn't do this Malcolm's baby business like we speculated last week. I didn't expect that they would go with a miscarriage. I thought they would complicate matters further by making Bridget pregnant and wondering whose baby it would be.

I guess it's too soon for Bridget to figure out that Siobhan is really still alive, but surely she must wonder what Knight Rider was on about. He seems to be relegated to these bit parts since that series was axed.

Probably just thought "Oh another gut Siobhan was sleeping with...go figure"

He's gotta dig deeper than that, though. All he has to do is ask "When did you get back from Paris?" and boom. It's on.

Maybe he doesn't care to ask her that. Besides, he already phoned her and got through to the real one, and didn't want to hear any explanations. It's unlikely he's going to pursue the matter with Bridget in NY. Just another contrived way of Bridget not finding out that Siobhan is still alive.

There is no point in bringing him to NY if he's going to just get over it that quick.

And also Brureing (sp?) was in the pilot for Wonder Woman, which obviously didn't get picked up, so he's going to be doing guest/recurring stuff until this coming pilot season, most likely.

From TV Line:
Ringer Books Supernatural's Misha Collins
by Vlada Gelman

Supernatural‘s heavenly angel has returned to Earth.

Misha Collins — aka the Winchesters’ ally-turned-foe Castiel on the CW series — will guest star on the network’s rookie drama Ringer, TVGuide.com reports.

Collins will appear in Episode 14 as Dylan, a man that both Bridget and Siobhan have a past with and who is partly responsible for the wedge between them.

Collins’ fan favorite character on Supernatural was seemingly killed off in this season’s second episode, but showrunner Sera Gamble has said she hopes to bring back the actor in some form.

YEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS!!!!! :awesome::up:

Andrew's reaction to a black baby would have been priceless. If they were not going to do it right then they should not half ass it
