Saw 10: Who's Ready to Play a Game

Oh hell yes. I was hoping he'd be in it. They're trying to win me back after Jigsaw and Spiral.

Madame X
Project X
Malcolm X
Jason X
Fast X
Saw X

I hope one day we see a X-Men X.

If this movie isn’t good, a lot of “it sawx” headlines

Probably a guarantee there since the highest RT score this franchise has is a 50%, and that was all the way back with the first movie. I can't imagine critics all of a sudden having a change of heart with this one.

There's plenty of slasher / gore film franchises that managed to get a rt rating over 50% after several sequels. Halloween and Final Destination are eXamples of this. If only Lionsgate would hire a better director and writers, it could be done.

I think though this being “torture porn”, it’s just going to turn off 50% of its mainstream critics. Critics prefer their “fun” gore when it comes to horror film like this.

Kind of seems like they're going to use this as a way to retcon his death. I know part 4 has an autopsy scene, but they can always claim it was actually someone else instead of him... or it's simply just a revenge movie about Jigsaw taking out people who were trying to scam him.

So this is gonna be like what Halloween 18 and Scream V did to their franchises only it's gonna be a prequel.

Look, I love the Saw series. It's probably my favorite film franchise, but the hurdles this franchise has gone through since Saw III to justify bringing Tobin Bell back and how they go over his sickness over and over again is...admittedly fun to watch.

Okay, so between Saw I and II, apparently John goes to Mexico. Saw VII established that Dr. Gordon was helping him so...did he ask Gordon for help in where to go for this medical procedure? Would they even reveal that detail, knowing such a twist wouldn't be revealed for several more films? If John goes to Mexico, does this mean that Hoffman and Amanda (AND Logan Nelson since now he's a thing!) were keeping things going in his absence?

John was hooked up to an IV and using an oxygen tank by the time we get to Saw II. Did he even have the strength to make it to Mexico- presumably- on his own? Anyone outside of John Kramer's circle who knows that he's the Jigsaw Killer is dead- at this point, that's Zepp, Sing, and Tapp?- so no one at this point knows who he is.

I'm gonna see this film regardless, but like any Saw film, I have so many questions. Heck, how does this film end, if not in a way that transitions into Saw II?

I doubt it. But this intrigues me more than JigSaw and Spiral. Maybe its the X.

Crazy there's been 9 movies already and I don't really remember most of it. Other than all those movies were an underwhelming eXperience.

These movies would have been more interesting without all the generic cop story nonsense.

To me, sandwiching this between Saw 1 and II is kind of ridiculous and also...what's the point? Just to bring John Kramer back? More fan service within the timeline? The stakes will be very low for me, already knowing not only what happens before the events of this film but also afterwards. The concept seems like little more than a standalone "Saw adventure", but who knows if this report is accurate or not. Hopefully it all makes sense.

I would probably have preferred a full-on Saw reboot at this point.

The lore and storyline sense of it all I threw away after III when they actually killed him. All these movies after that are just merely well produced fanfic.

I'm just watching this for the kills and traps like the past 6 films.

I mean, given the soap opera nature of the series, I've been expecting a twin brother for a while now.

Something tells me there's a Teaser Trailer with Talk to me.
