Interesting. I was watching Sabotage yesterday and Joe Mangoniello reminded me of him as well.

Another thing that reminds me of is Dolph Lungdren in Universal Soldier ( the first film) and Ortons maneurisms seems similar

Maybe "Doing a Roman" is gonna be the new thing in Hollywood. :D

That Orton/Lundgren comparison I have heard mentioned before, was it by you bullets? I can see some similarities, especially when he does that creepy smile.

Is that legit?

From what I can tell it seems to be official.

Yeah, I don't expect Prince Devitt to come to WWE anytime soon as he has just won the ICW Zero-G Championship tonight.

Isn't he in a loser leaves NJPW match soon? I'd put a title on him ahead of that as well, smart booking.

Who Would have expected that this guy:

Was once a trainee of this guy?:

My pick for my favorite WrestleMania match of all time usually varies, but it always comes down to these 4:
Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker from WrestleMania 25
Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker II from WrestleMania 26(largely due to the fact that it was in my home state and it was the first Mania I ever went to and I got to see Shawn Michaels' final match)
The Rock vs Stone Cold Steve Austin from WrestleMania 17(IMO, the greatest WrestleMania main event ever)
Bret Hart vs Stone Cold Steve Austin from WrestleMania 13(the match that launched an era).

Since I'm leaving to New Orleans this Tuesday and I might not be able to get this list out, might as well do it now. These are the 30 matches I consider to be the greatest matches in WrestleMania history(in no particular order):
TLC II from WrestleMania 17

CM Punk vs. The Undertaker from WrestleMania 29

Brock Lesnar vs. Kurt Angle from WrestleMania 19

Batista vs. The Undertaker from WrestleMania 23

Ric Flair vs. Shawn Michaels from WrestleMania 24

Hulk Hogan vs. Mr McMahon from WrestleMania 19

Edge vs. The Undertaker from WrestleMania 24

Triple H vs. The Undertaker from WrestleMania 17

Triple H vs. The Undertaker from WrestleMania 27

Triple H vs. The Undertaker from WrestleMania 28

Randy Orton vs. The Undertaker from WrestleMania 21

Hulk Hogan vs. Andre The Giant from WrestleMania 3

Randy Savage vs. Ricky Steamboat from WrestleMania 3

Edge vs. Mick Foley from WrestleMania 22

Shawn Michaels vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin from WrestleMania 14

Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels from WrestleMania 12

John Cena vs. Shawn Michaels from WrestleMania 23

Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho from WrestleMania 19

Kurt Angle vs. Shawn Michaels from WrestleMania 21

Razor Ramon vs. Shawn Michaels from WrestleMania 10

Ric Flair vs. Randy Savage from WrestleMania 8

Bret Hart vs. Owen Hart from WrestleMania 10

The Rock vs. Hulk Hogan from WrestleMania 18

Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Benoit from WrestleMania 20

The Undertaker vs. Kane from WrestleMania 14

Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker from WrestleMania 25

Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker from WrestleMania 26

The Ultimate Warrior vs. Randy Savage from WrestleMania 7

The Rock vs Stone Cold Steve Austin from WrestleMania 17

Bret Hart vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin from WrestleMania 13

What matches do you guys consider the 30 greatest matches in WrestleMania history?

2014 WWE Hall of Famer Lita recently spoke with Scott Fishman of The Miami Herald. Here are some highlights:

Stephanie McMahon getting in touch with her:

“Stephanie McMahon was texting with me. She was feeling me out telling me the office has been trying to get in touch with me. She asked if I could call the office. She was doing the whole talking to me as a friend, but being a little vague. She said, ‘The office just has something they would like to talk to you about. I believe that it’s regarding WrestleMania. So maybe it’s the weekend surrounding it? I’m not really sure, so just give them a call.’ I was like, ‘All right weirdo. Sure.’ Then I called, and they asked me if I would accept the honor of being in their Hall of Fame.”

The Divas division today:

“Let’s say a generation is seven years. It has been about seven years since Trish and I left. We left within a few months of each other. The diva’s division took quite a hit. I don’t feel like it has fully recovered. I would love to see it get that spark again, that involving a deep roster that you could have a bunch of compelling characters — ones you want to go out there and see. At the same time, the women just like the tag division, was super hot. I don’t know that it has seen that type of attention since, either. It was a special time that I am glad to have been a part of when it was up.”

Total Divas:

“Sure, you get wrestling fans, but they’re already watching the programming anyways. Then you get the people who watch the Kardashians. I feel like that is the type of person that would watch ‘Total Divas’ as opposed to a wrestling fan who is already watching anyways….I have several friends now at this point that have zero concept of my life when I was doing that. Their questions and perception are just completely different than a fan or somebody in the know. I think it’s a different market that people are watching ‘Total Divas,’ but I don’t know if it translates to more viewership or interest in women’s wrestling. It’s more about being curious about these people who do this thing that they maybe weren’t interested in before.”

Possibly doing one more match:

“The only thing when I get asked about giving one more match is more just to prove it to myself. I do feel really great and really strong. I had some nagging injuries for a really long time after I retired that I guess I will have to live with for getting beaten up for so long. I do feel really great and feel really strong, so that would be more the reason why I would want to get back out there one more time to prove to myself I can still do all the stuff. As far as getting an itch or anything active, I’m super happy where I am and proud of my accomplishments. It’s not really something I feel like I need to do, but if my arm was twisted at the right time, I could probably be talked into it.”

So guys, with the company seemingly moving in a "more action, less talk" direction with the main product how well do you guys think this will benefit guys like Bryan, Cesaro, Rollins, Luke Harper, Cody Rhodes(Whom are already over and/or starting to get over), and other guys that are effective on the mic but not in the elite category while being exceptional in the ring?

Like say they went full blast and mostly started developing feuds with 3-5 minute promos that get to the point and progress the angles while having lengthy matches on a regular basis, Do you guys see it easier for the workhorses to get and stay over going this route?

If they go this route, I personally feel that we should only get the 15-30 min promos on the go-home shows for the final hard sell of the PPV as well as making those lengthy promos seem more special.

Plus audiences seem to care more about match quality than they once did considering that if a match gets too slow and meandering then they will outright crap on it.

Scarlet Spider Devitt
Prince Devitt turned up at ICW tonight and won the Zero G title. During the post-match celebration, which you can watch above, Devitt discussed recent rumors about possibly being headed to WWE or TNA.

"There’s a lot of rumours goin’ around about where is Prince Devitt going…TNA, WWE," Devitt said after the match. "Well he’s right here in ICW!"

I did my fan edit of his shoot interview with the Destruction DVD to make it more of a positive documentary. Tempted to re-edit it again with the new interview footage.

Is there a video of this Slushy? I'd be interested to watch this.

I agree a good chunk of the hate was professional jealously, but if Warrior hadn't been such an assh*le to his co-workers, there wouldn't have been that much of a bandwagon. He deserved a lot of the spite he got.

I mean that's all a matter of opinion. Warrior explained that he liked to be friends with the ring crew and workers and not the talent because they were all very political and liked to play games. Now honestly, I can understand that.

Also, let's be honest, this business is filled with *******s. CM Punk...look, I love CM Punk but I think even he'd be willing to admit he's an *******. And plenty of *******s get ahead in the business. And it's the *******s who turn out to be some of the most successful and ambitious.

I mean I like Randy Orton generally as a worker. But his reputation speaks for itself. Clearly not all of it is rumor because he's been disciplined a ton throughout his decade plus career in the WWE.

So honestly, I'm OK with the fact that maybe a lot of my heroes or guys I like in this business are jerks. I think sometimes you got to be a jerk or to be selfish in order to get ahead and be successful in the business.

Shawn Michaels didn't mellow out until after he came back for his second run and it was because by that point he didn't need to worry about his spot or fighting to be a main eventer anymore. And he found Christ. Yet even after he thought his career was over, he was still making bad life decisions and doing bad things and getting into trouble.

Here's another example. Stone Cold Steve Austin. Now again, I love Stone Cold Steve Austin. But he ditched the company. Now on one hand, I see where he was coming from at the time. I agree the booking was kind of the pits at that point. He didn't want to job to Lesnar on Raw, blah blah blah. I get that. But a part of me truly believes that Austin just didn't want to job to the new young gun like Lesnar. And the reason Austin was being hypocritical is that guys were doing it for him when it was time for him to become top dog in the yard. Did a rising star and heel like The Rock complain that he had to job clean to Austin on the go home show before WrestleMania 14 without any buildup? Jericho, the guy they put the undisputed title on later got jobbed clean to Austin on Raw before Vengeance 2001. Me thinks that Austin just didn't want to job to Lesnar period and was trying to be political and protect his spot as a main eventer.

Now I get in hindsight that Austin has gone back and said he could've handled it better and all. I'm just giving my personal take on it.

Haha, you have a good memory. I have mentioned it before . It's almost like Orton studied the performance. Although he's kind of gotten way from that a bit now I guess.

Speaking of film , I watched Scooby Doo's Wrestlemania earlier. Some cartoons can be fun for all ages. I don't think older fans will enjoy this. Although I did get a nostalgia kick during the last act. The voice work was really good. The Scooby gang sounded just like the original actors. I haven't seen any new Scooby films until now. In the film there's a WWE city. It got me thinking about a wwe theme park. They at least need a Hall of Fame building with guest signings and such

My pick for my favorite WrestleMania match of all time usually varies, but it always comes down to these 4:

For me, my favorite WM match of all-time has to be Hart Vs. Michaels, but I have to break down other favorites in these categories:

Epic: Hogan Vs. Warrior

Workrate (Non-Title): Angle Vs. Michaels

Emotion: Savage Vs. Flair

Underdog: Cena Vs. Helmsley

Undertaker: Vs. Batista - The last time I believed The Streak was going to end.

World Heavyweight Title: Del Rio Vs. Edge

Midcard: Steamboat Vs. Savage

Tag Team: Rockers Vs. Haku & Barbarian

Underrated: Hogan Vs. Slaughter

Guilty Pleasure: Undertaker Vs. Sid

Is there a video of this Slushy? I'd be interested to watch this.

Always Believe

I got more than 400,000 views with it on YouTube before WWE took it down. :cmad:

I mean that's all a matter of opinion. Warrior explained that he liked to be friends with the ring crew and workers and not the talent because they were all very political and liked to play games. Now honestly, I can understand that.

He should've just opened up and been one of the boys. At least try to get along with everybody so he wouldn't have rubbed them the wrong way. When you hear stories of him back then being condescending, making demands, getting his own dressing room, and blowing off fans, it really gets to you and I can understand why guys from his era wouldn't have anything nice to say about him on both a professional and personal level.

Now, when I met Warrior a few years ago, he was cool as Hell. I think he's changed. At least I hope he has.

They kinda do have that. It's called Wrestle Con.

There is a lot of pressure at the top of the mountain. Very few will come out unscathed from it. It's a cruel business and nobody wants to see the spotlight slip away from them. I don't expect them all to be real life heroes , but do hope they will make the right decisions or learn from their mistakes.

I meant more as a permanent fixture. Although Wrestle Con sounds awesome

Yup, it was really awesome last year. They come every Mania Weekend. I MIGHT go this year again as some of the confirmed names set to appear are:
Sting
Goldberg
Edge
Mickie James(with a concert)
Colt Cabana with a live podcast which is always a blast
Steve Corino
Kevin Steen doing a live version of the always awesome Kevin Steen Show
$5 Wrestling with Colt Cabana (think MST3K, but for wrestling)

Matches that have been assigned:
* Luke Hawx, Shane Helms & Cassidy Riley vs. Steve Corino, Matt Striker, & Adam Pearce
* Sid Vicious vs. Doug Gilbert
* Kevin Steen vs. Masato Tanaka
* Jeff Jarrett vs. Colt Cabana
* CZW champion Drew Gulak vs. Chris Hero vs. Michael Elgin
* Ultraviolent Affair: CZW owner DJ Hyde vs. MASADA
* Joey Ryan & Candice LaRae vs. Sojo Bolt & Jake Manning
* Also appearing: Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian

Screw it, I think I'll go to this event. So Saturday, I'll be going to DGUSA, the ROH TV taping, WWE Axxess, WrestleCon, and the WWE Hall of Fame.

ICW is an Irish promotion, right? Just speculating, but it's possible he's just gonna spend a month or two closer to home before going to the states. Him winning a title doesn't guarantee anything since he could lose it at anytime before he goes.

Watching Capital Combat. Just watched Robocop save Sting from the Horsemen.

Oh the 90's.

ICW is a Scottish promotion.

That's what we need today: Nicolas Cage with a flaming skull head coming out to save John Cena.

No, I don't mean Ghost Rider, I mean Nicolas Cage with a flaming skull head.
