Scenes In Movies That Make You Cry

I tear up whenever there's explicit animal cruelty on screen, and when an animal dies.

The scene in True Grit was almost too much for me.

Isn't that the film where they actually killed animals on screen?

The Ballroom Dance in Beauty and the Beast

yeah man, same here

sometimes those ASPCA commercials really get to me :csad:

Casablanca, when Lazlo leads all the refugees in singing La Marseillaise to drown out the Germany national anthem. What makes it even more powerful is that many of the French refugees in the scene were actual French refugees at the time. Every time I see the close-up of the French woman with tears streaming down her face as she so powerfully sings the song, I can't help but suspect that those tears are real and I almost lose it every time.

The one more person sequence in Schindler's List. When I saw it for the first time I was uncontrollably sobbing!

Dobbys scene in deathly hallows. Up also gets me everytime.

M*A*S*H: When Henry Blake is going home. The whole scene where he's saying goodbye to everyone. Then when he's about to get on his chopper, he sees Radar saluting him. He goes over, returns the salute, then says, "You behave yourself or I'm gonna come back here and kick your butt." Then after the commercial break, they're all working in the O.R. And Radar comes in and reads a telegram saying that Henry Blake's plane was shot down and there were no survivors.

M*A*S*H: When Radar goes home. Just as he's about to go to his going home party, choppers arrive loaded with casualties. So everyone says goodbye to Radar as they're performing triage. Then when they're all in the O.R., Radar looks in on themk one last time. Hawkeye looks up and sees Radar looking through the window and salutes him. Radar salutes him back then leaves. The very last scene, Hawkeye, BJ, and Col. Potter go into The Swamp for a drink and find that Radar left Hawkeye his teddybear.

Armaggeddon: The scene near the end when Bruce Willis stays behind to set off the nuke manually.

Deep Impact: When the astronaughts decide to make one last attempt to destroy the comet, and say goodbye to their families because the attempt will cost them all their lives.

Glee: season 2 episode 15 "Sexy".

"I just have to accept...That I love you. Please say you love me back, please".

The prince's tale, Deathly Hallows 2.

Cried so hard.

Both of these.

Also included are the post-Ring destruction scenes in ROTK; Danny's death in Pearl Harbor; and there a few more, but I cannot recall them immediately.

In the Ratatouille climax when the food critic has his flashback. I cry every time I watch it.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I've watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.

'Short Circuit 2' when Johnny Five is dying at the end. It made me tear up as a kid and still made me tear up recently when I saw it again as a grown-ass man.

Also the last scene of 'Lost in Translation' when Bill Murray's character whispers to Scarlett Johansson's character and says goodbye on the way to the airport. You know they'll never see each other again.
