Scream 4!!!!!

Ok so who's everyone's favorite killer in the series? And why?

My favorite is Mrs Loomis. I think she was the most surprising reveal out of all the killers. I didn't see her coming. Maybe it was because a female killer never occurred to me. Maybe it was because Laurie Metcalf played Aunt Jackie in Roseanne. What ever it was, I never saw her coming at all. Especially as Billy's mom.

Although when you look back through the movie you see some hints to her peppered throughout it. Like Debbie Salt saying "It seems to me if the killer is repeating what happened in Woodsboro, then it's possible the killer could be from Woodsboro".
The Stab clip they show with Tori Spelling and Luke Wilson as Sid and Billy is of the scene where Billy tells Sid he had to accept that his mom abandoned him and his dad.
Finally you have Randy and Dewey discussing possible suspects, and Randy saying female killers are perfect because it's sort of against the rules but not really, and cites Mrs Voorhees, a serial killer mom out to avenge her dead son, as being a terrific killer.

I think Mrs Loomis was the smartest out of all the killers in the most believable way (I didn't buy Roman's set up at all). She had some plastic surgery done so nobody would recognize her. She purposely avoided any inhabitants from Woodsboro like Sidney and Randy who might be able to spot her because they'd know her so well from being friends with Billy (which Sid did when she first saw her in the climax). She had the perfect fall guy in Mickey to pin all the murders on. Even if they did suspect a second killer, they could never pin it on her, as Debbie Salt doesn't even exist.

I loved how she kept pestering Gale all through the movie as the pushy reporter, Debbie Salt. Then when she revealed her true colors, I think Metcalf was great at playing the psycho mother looking for revenge. She had some fab dialogue:

Sid: "You're never going to get away with this"

Mrs Loomis: "Of course I will. Everything's traceable back to Mickey, including the Cop gun he used to kill everybody. But lets just suppose that YOU had gotten hold of the other Cop's gun. And you chased Mickey, and there was a big shoot out and a big scuffle, and you SHOT Mickey. Killed Mickey dead! But not before he got off ONE shot at you. Sooooo have I covered everything? Are there any questions? Any comments? You know what though, who give a flying F**K anyway? Let 'em try and track down the second possible killer. Debbie Salt doesn't exist"

Sid: "You're as crazy as your son was"

Mrs Loomis: "What did you just say? Was that a negative disparaging remark about my son? About my Billy?"

Sid: "No, Billy was a good boy. Billy was perfect. You did a bang up job, Mrs Loomis"

Mrs Loomis: "It's not wise to patronize me with a gun, Sidney. Randy spoke poorly of Billy and I got a little knife happy. I was a GOOD mother. You know what makes me SICK? I am sick to death of people saying that it's all the parents' fault. That it all starts with the family. If you want to blame someone, why don't you blame your MOTHER!!! She's the one who stole my husband and broke up my family. And then you took my SON!!!! You don't know what it is to be a mother. To raise a child, and teach him...and guide him..."

Sid: "And ABANDON him!"

That's my favorite exchange between Sid and any of the killers. Class.

I always like how it kind of brought it full circle with Billy, as she was his motivation for being a killer in Scream:

Billy: "Your **** mother was ****ing my father. And she's the reason that my mom moved out and abandoned me"

So it was bittersweet that Mrs Loomis came along to avenge her son in Scream 2. We knew all about her from Scream. She wasn't a character that came out of nowhere.

Oh yeah, and she killed our beloved Randy. Got a little knife happy on him for bad mouthing her precious Billy to her on the phone. I loved that!

^^ Agreed. Mrs. Loomis along with Billy is my favorite. Joker pretty much summed up my feelings exactly.

Personally, I don't think anybody saw it coming. Mrs. Loomis's character just seemed like a persistant new reporter and nothing more, so it really came out of left field, IMO.

Yeah, even taking the TV part out of the equation, that guy was bleeding out like crazy. He was a goner.

If thats the case, Dewey should've died. He bled open in two movies and is still alive.

Mickey. It's all about Mickey for me.

He's the evil Randy and I love it. I've memorized his monologue and exchange with Sid. Man, it's one of my favorite moments in cinema of all time.....IF.... YA HAD.... A MOM.

Stu / Billy are a close 2nd tho. They were the only one who really came off as a legit "team" of killers. They way they toyed with Sidney and how you can pretty much assume that each of them killed the other person's people.

Billy killed Casey for Stu.
Stu tried to kill Sid the first time for Billy.

This is how I've always perceived it; Kills are numbered and Attempts are labeled as X's.

0. Maureen
- Billy (Killer)
Billy was given the need/want by Roman and didn't create his "movie" yet, so no need for a partner yet. And, Stu knows nothing about "Sid's Mother ****ing Billy's Father" when Billy is discussing it at the end of SCREAM.

1. Steve
- Billy (Phone) / Stu (Ghostface)
Stu had the connection and I think Billy didn't want to have a chance of "getting caught" already.

2. Casey
- Billy (Phone) / Stu (Ghostface)
^ditto

X. Sidney (home)
- Billy (Phone) / Stu (Ghostface)
Billy couldn't go through with killing his girl just yet and made Stu do it, who was now getting the "hunger".

X. Sidney (bathroom)
- Stu (Ghostface) or random kid for fun...
At this point, Stu was just having fun.

3. Principal Himbry
- Billy (Ghostface)
Billy figured he'd get in on the action by killing the Principal.

X. Sidney / Tatum (outside)
- Stu (Ghostface)
Stu was just having more fun by doing his best Michael Myers impression, stalking.

4. Tatum
- Billy (Ghostface)
Billy wanted to pay his buddy back and had now become psychotic after the Himbry kill. Also, Stu was "entertaining" guests.

5. Kenny
- Stu (Ghostface)
Billy was with Sidney.

X. Gale / Dewey
- Stu (Ghostface)
He told Billy "She looked dead..."

X. Billy / Syd
- Stu (Ghostface)
Duh...

Billy killed Casey and Steve at the start of Scream.

Stu was with Tatum and notice Billy's line "Nobody said YOU did" when they were all talking on the fountain.

Yeah, Stu had an alibi with Tatum.

Was that before or after he SLICED AND DICED! :D

But yea, Stu had an alibi, and Billy pretty much admitted to doing it with that line i mentioned.

^^ what they said.

And Idk if any of you have been through this before - but i'm 100% sure Mickey killed Randy and Mrs. Loomis just took credit for it.

The boots.
The video that plays shows randy was what mickey something Mickey did.
"You'll never be the hero and you'll never ever get the girl" is a line Randy said in class and only Mickey would have known.
It happens right before Sid in the play and she asks what happened to Mickey - and Derek says "We swapped. He had to edit."

Mrs. Loomis took Randy out. Stu took Casey out. You can tell from the grunts and Stu lets her take his mask off.

My guess as to who killed whom -

Scream 1 -
Billy: Maureen. Steve. Casey. Attack on Sidney in school. Sid trapped in the police car. Tatum.
Stu: Attack on Sidney in house. Himbry. Stabbed Dewey. Kenny the camera man.

I think Billy was the driving force. Stu only did a little. Billy basically just included him to "have a partner to sell out in case ya get caught."

Scream 2:
Mickey: Maureen Evans, Phil Stevens. Hallie. The cops. Randy.
Ms. Loomis: Cici Cooper. Attack on Sid at sorority house. Dewey stab / Gale chase in film school.

IMO - Ms. Loomis just wanted Sid. She played Mickey's game just to be involved and keep suspicion off of him long enough to frame him for his crazy plan and then just to get Sid. I think she wanted Randy, Gale, Dewey dead but let Mickey have Randy. Gale was more involved with Sid in the death of Billy. I think those are the only 2 people she really wanted to kill herself.

Scream 3 - Roman killed everyone.
*sigh*
I hate solo killers. Idc how less it would have worked - they should have let Angelina stay as the 2nd killer.

That's some of the worst evidence I've ever heard anyone make for a case. Why would Billy care if she took the mask off? Stu was still the one with the motive.

And the grunts? We're saying Mickey doesn't lose his breath fighting with Randy in the truck?

Also - I highly doubt Ms. Loomis had the upper body strength to bear hug and lift Randy into the van. Mickey was a pretty buff dude.

Stu didn't kill Casey. I watched Scream about 2 hours ago.

When they are all talking at the fountain at school Tatum says Stu was with her the night of the murders. Then Stu is like "I didn't kill anybody". Billy replies "Nobody said you did".

It's pretty obvious Billy was the killer.

But that's what was great about it. It was SO obvious that we complicated it.

"It couldn't be that simple. He's not the killer. They're making it too obvious"

Scream 4 may be the movie saying "The unexpected is the new cliche." but Scream 1 was already on that mindset. Oh that Williamson. lolz.

I felt the fountain scene was tongue in cheek. Stu sliced and diced after Tatum fell asleep. Stu needed an "initiation" kill since he was probably not even part of the Maureen kill, and what better practice for your crazy best friend's murdering plot than to kill your ex-girlfriend who dumped you for a football jock...

Scream 2:

Mickey: Maureen Evans (GF), Phil Stevens (GF), Cici Cooper (phone), Hallie/Cops (GF), Dewey/Gale (GF), Sidney "play" (GF)
Ms. Loomis: CiCi Cooper (GF). Sidney "sorority house" (GF), and Randy "I hate that she did this, as I really want to believe Mickey did it because of the facts Jow stated above...(GF)

Come to think of it, there wasn't enough phone calling stalking in Scream 2.

I'm almost positive that Wes Craven confirmed it was Stu who killed Casey and Steve. I don't have the interview on hand or anything, but I do remember reading that.

Stu could have joined Tatum the same way Billy went to Sid's. I also thought the look on Casey's face after she takes off the mask says it all that Stu did it. They dated afterall.

I always imagined the kills being:

Stu: Steve, Casey, Kenny
Billy: Himbry, Tatum

Scream 2:

Mickey: Phil, Maureen, Hallie, Detectives, Derek (obviously)
Mrs. Loomis: CiCi, Randy, attempt on Gale and Dewey

Mrs. Loomis confirms herself that she killed Randy. "Randy had something to say about my Billy and I got a little knife happy." or whatever the quote is. As for Mickey not being there to pick up Sid, I always just figured it was because he was the Ghostface during Sid's actual play practice. So he was there, technically.

I always found that interesting that the Loomis' were the ones who killed the least, assuming my guesses are correct of course.

"You take a knife and split 'em from groin to sternum." -Stu

He was starting his "craze" with the Casey/Steve kill and was really feeling the fun part of Billy's plan. He was also the one pushing the boundaries with stalking in the day, and taking the "duties" at the end at his house for most of the kills except Tatum's which Billy was being a "good friend", Billy's expression to Stu at the door is so awesome. Basically saying, "I got he , good buddy...".

Now you're just re-writing the movie to support your argument.

As for who killed Casey/Drew?

Kevin Williamson said both Stu and Billy were present, but Stu got the final blow.

I could see that being the smartest way to kill people - having both killers on scene at all time would be a strong plan.

And I HATE to be a d**k and say this, but I don't know you and I realize asking this for a movie from the mid-90's is a complete assanine thing to do but uh.... source?
