Scream 4!!!!!

after reading that recent article about everyone second guessing themselves and yet another creativity battle with the weinsteins.... my doubts have been solidified, this movie will be a disaster.

A disaster that's being rated earlier as better than 2 and 3? A disaster that is being said to hold up to the first original Scream that is a horror classic now? Yeah. I like your idea of disaster buddy.

i hope thats true though... its not just that article that blew my hopes away but My Soul To Take.. which was easily one of the worst films ive ever seen... and wes craven thought he made a good movie.

with both scream and insidious being great this would be one of the best couple of months in years for horror films..(not saying much lol)

have you seen Insidious yet? I saw it last year at the Toronto Film Fest and thought it was great! I saw it the day it came out again and had forgotten how creepy it was. A modern-day poltergiest!

We should start a poll on who the killer(s) are, that would be fun. The obvious fan choice would be Rory Culkin, but that's TOO obvious. I'm going with Emma Roberts' character, Sidney's cousin. Makes the most sense to me.

Ok I have to mention the Ehren kruger rewrites. First I have always found it hilarious that a man named KRUGER helped Wes Craven on Scream 3 (and a little on Scream 4). I mean...............Irony at it's best!

Not ironic but it's a nice coincidence.


As for a motive pissing me off . It would have to be them adding a third killer to one of the previous films. Like " I was Debbie and Mickie's accomplice but I've been hiding since they were killed"

Wes has said this is very much Kevin's script and film. He couldn't do re-writes because of that dumb Vampire show, not like the whole Scream 3 debacle.

I still kind of want to see Insidious. The previews just really made it look dumb though. They didn't really tell you much about the movie. So I was surprised when it was getting good reviews.

Vampire Diaries is a legitly well written and acted vampire mystery show.

1) Do not hate on Smallville. They have gotten EPIC since the new showrunners came on. Yes it has it's faults, but damn is it good.

2) Insidious blew chunks. My God, the freaking "demon" thing was just darth maul with hoofs and a bad haircut. I jumped once the entire movie. The rest I was bored and called everything. Not to mention the "journeyman" subplot, the medium chick and the two bafoons just ruined everything. It tried to be exorcist meets poltergeist and failed on every level of it.

3) As a writer (like everyone else on here) I think we all can agree that 99% of the time, it's the writer's fault for a bad movie. And their congrats for a great one. The director is the one who the public just knows to blame or congratulate at the end of it all.

Blah blah blah. I don't think the guy is as bad as everyone says. In Scream 3 he had the studio breathing down his neck and he did the best he could under the circumstances. T2 suffererd from the writers strike. Everything did at that time.

Anyway, Emma Roberts is on Jay Leno tonight (like in 2 minutes haha) and Neve Campbell is on Kimmle (I believe) right after.
