Me too.

Gonna watch the first trilogy on Wednesday. Thursday night, Scream 4, midnight showing. I can't wait. My first movie of 2011.

This has been Scream week for me already lol but next week I do intend to go to the midnight showing. This will be the first time I really pumped for a movie this year .. Then after this Thor , CA , and HP7

Kevin Williamson’s Scream 3 Opening Revealed

In the upcoming Still Screaming: The Ultimate Scary Movie Documentary, unprecedented light will be shed on the Frankensteinian creation of Scream 3. Director Ryan Turek has used his website Shock Till You Drop as a venue to release a short clip that goes a long way.


Scream 1-3 Editor Patrick Lussier explains “It wasnt so much about multiple endings in Scream 3 as it was multiple beginnings. There were so many variations on the opening sequence.”


Scream 3 Screenwriter and fanboy punching bag Ehren Kruger recalls his own early scenario: “I remember a sequence with an actor ‘Ben Damon’ in a car, where the killer was calling the actor from inside the trunk of the car.”
However Kruger drops a bombshell in recalling Kevin Williamson’s original idea before the development cycle had begun: “There was an early version in Kevin’s original treatment where the opening sequence was Sidney and a friend being attacked at home, and then Sidney ultimately killing the killer – and unmasking the killer – and it’s some fan and this drives her into hiding.”

I've been looking around the internet for an hour looking for spoilers but it's incredibly scarce. There's some stuff on the IMDB board but every time spoilers are posted there's somebody who argues those are all fake, it gets kinda confusing.

It's actually hard for me to stay away from the spoilers. I'm trying to stay off the internet as much as possible. But it's hard. I wanna know what happens already, but I have to stick it out until Thursday night.

What if whoever Ghostface is this time actually wins and kills everybody?

Or what if it turns out that Sidney is Ghostface this time? People constantly trying to kill her, and all of her friends constantly dying, just drives her over the edge and causes her own murder spree. That might be a cool twist.

They've actually considered some of these things I've discovered.

I think if Ghostface got away with it at the end , this series would become like most other horror movies. I like being able to follow a group of survivors , it makes it more interesting.

Sidney losing it was a big rumor around the time Scream 3 was coming out. I was starting to get a little worried when it showed her having nightmares about her mother. If it happened it would certainly divide fans. My brother was hoping for it but I wasn't.

Tbh, I doubt Sidney would be the killer this time aorund. If that happened, it would have happened way way back in Scream 3, if you ask me.
