Lyana?Who do you think his mother is?
Lyana?Who do you think his mother is?
So, I figure he's from House Stark and Targaryen. It makes the most sense because he's clearly an important character and is clearly in some way tied to Daenerys.
Lyana?
The only Baratheons in Ned Stark's adulthood were the three brothers Robert, Stannis and Renly. The only Targaryens were Aerys and his wife, their eldest son Rhaegar, Viserys and then Dany born some time after Jon. So there's no candidates amongst them for Jon's mother. A Stark on the other hand...

So I guess I'm right and wrong. Just assumed Ned was the father, but that makes sense. I wonder if she was really kidnapped. Jon could have a strong claim to the crown. I think the Starks are going to be everywhere when all is said and done. Winterfell, Riverrun, Spooky mystical Bran living in a cave, Braavos??, King's Landing.
If so, that would make Dani and Jon half, well, half a lot of things. Those crazy Targaryens......beats boinking your twin I guess.
Yeah, their first kiss is going to be so hot.Aunt and Nephew

I will be interested to find out how he is related to Cersei. It is going to be some Space Balls stuff.Jon can't get with anyone at this point. Come season 7, all the female characters of note will be related to him![]()

I think when they read the books and saw that she has a love interest called "Qarl the Maid" they took things a bit...literally.

I think I have a touch of the ague.
I'll be right as rain soon, right as rain, yes I will. Right as rain will I be, yes.
So what do you guys think was the in-story reason for Sansa not at least sharing the information about her letter to the Vale with Jon? And do you think the reason was adequately explained?
Because I think the episode overall is still one of the best, but this seems to be the only real flaw with the characters and battle.
I am watching it again, for like the 4th time. I do not believe Jon says one intelligible word from the moment they line up to when he speaks to Sansa after the battle. I believe all he says is, "ya" to his horse to hurry it up and he tries to say something to the man he tries to talk to during the oner. That would mean he says like three words the entire battle. And yet all that emotion. Great work from Kit.
I also feel like surviving the almost suffocation and seeing Ramsay vulnerable finally woke Jon up. Like he wasn't really Jon since his return until that moment.
