LOL! I love it. Man, Ock is such a nasty piece of work. He cares about nobody and nothing but himself :D

Thanks again Captivated. I'm really looking forward to this one now.
No problem... let me know what you think of it when you finally read it. :)

lol. brilliant. thanks captivated. poor stupid doc ock - sometimes its hard to tell he's a scientist. then again he's a MAD scientist so i guess a bit of idiocy can be explained away. i didnt like the previous cupla issues but think i'll be buying (/at least reading) this one.
jordan's gonna get the babe. geeks get the babes in the end  lol.

He does, the epilouge tells us, after seeing Peter do his thing, she develops, a thing for science nerds and that by the end of the week Madeline and Jordan are dating

How is he stupid??

What, because the students temporarily drew his attention by defending Parker?? Please. Ock just got a whopper of a shock about Spidey's identity. He's pissed off to the max. He feels cheated and betrayed. Then the students start defending Peter by spouting off about him being a family man etc.

It would attract ANY villain's attention. Nothing stupid about it at all.

I thought the issue was awesome. It gave a humanistic view of the entire unmasking thing. This goes to show that you can use continuity and things that happened in the past in a GOOD way.

ahahahaha. i only said that cos i saw your post 2 above mine. way to stay unbiased man ;) I just think it shows how crazy he is. doc ock from the movie (as in more realistic) would have probs battered the boy instantly. heck i would have battered the boy instantly, not go off on one. but whatever, i like ock mmmmmkay?

I would think the Doc Ock from the movie would be less likely to do that considering he was fighting the arms wishes for the entire movie.

^ no he wasnt. what movie were you watching??? he only actually thought clearly enough to fight against the arms wishes right at the end. did you miss him threaten/ try to kill/ maim everybody?

You must've missed the part when he didn't want to rob the bank, but the arms talked him into it.

what is ur problem? i found it funny that doc ock fans jump to his defense. he was essentially beaten by a boy, is all. jeeesus, grow up willya, i LIKE doc ock and didnt say otherwise. doc ock (in the movie) fighting the arms was book ended. the robbing was to show who was in control and then at the end he gets that control back.didnt make him any less vicious in the movie itself.

*GASP*

What a surprise

way to stay unbiased man ;)

Way to be an troll man ;)

Ock from the movie is less realistic and less likely to do that.

heck i would have battered the boy instantly, not go off on one.

That's the difference between you and a egotistical super villain.

but whatever, i like ock mmmmmkay?

Whatever.

Nice misquote of my name btw. Very original

thanx. thought it was worth a laugh. didnt know this thread was gona get so hostile and names were gona get thrown about. really what is ur problem?? just had a total lack of ppl to pick on since you dropped outta high school or summat? seriously, what did i do against you? all i ****ing did was say i thought it was a stupid way for ock to get beat, wasnt gona say it, but then wanted to see ur reaction -- which as usual is to start throwing names around and getting arsey. well done. now get back on topic.

let my name do the talking? what as opposed to ur extremely original name spider-man. well done *claps at sheep*. now get off my back willya??

ahem, now back on topic??

The first issue of Sensational I've ever read, and if they are all this good, I will keep it on my list. I liked the angle of "how it affects ordinary people in his life", it made me think, how would we all react if we found out something this weird about some person in our life...

Well, we all make mistakes.

didnt know this thread was gona get so hostile and names were gona get thrown about. really what is ur problem??

I had none. Til you childishly misquoted my name.

just had a total lack of ppl to pick on since you dropped outta high school or summat?

Wow, it's like you see into my soul

seriously, what did i do against you?

Well first you admit you tried to rile me up, then you misquote my name into an insult.

Grow up.

all i ****ing did was say i thought it was a stupid way for ock to get beat, wasnt gona say it, but then wanted to see ur reaction -- which as usual is to start throwing names around and getting arsey. well done.

Two things:

1. If you already knew what my usual reaction is, then why bother saying it??

2. Show me where I throw names around and get "arsey"

let my name do the talking?

Only if your name talks in a respectful manner.

what as opposed to ur extremely original name spider-man. well done *claps at sheep*.

You're mocking my screen name now??

LOL! Pathetic :D

now get off my back willya??

The words pot, kettle and black spring to mind here.

ahem, now back on topic??

Love to.

This issue sounds great, and I can't wait to read it myself

so: (1) you havnt even bloody read it yet? (downloads are beautiful)

and (2) how is YOUR name spider-manTM. wasnt addressing you -- he(spider-man TM) either thort that when someone posted 'moron' as my name it was (a) clever or (b) honestly thought that was name, which is pretty ****ing stupid.

where as (by the way) "Do cOck" was a typo that i left upon seeing it in all its hilarious glory. ALSO, way to get back on topic by splitting up what i said into many quotes and filling up more pages.

oh and editing out insults cos you know you shouldnt have sed them doesnt save you any face.

I read Captivated's spoilers.

Did she leave anything out??

You were addressing another poster in a quote directed at me???

Mmmmmkay, sorry for the mix up. But you were addressing me, and just dropped that into it. I assumed you were talking to me.

where as (by the way) "Do cOck" was a typo that i left upon seeing it in all its hilarious glory.

It was not a typo. You deliberately changed it, because the Hype automatically quotes the poster's name for you.

You went and changed it.

ALSO, way to get back on topic by splitting up what i said into many quotes and filling up more pages.

Pages?? It was all contained in one post.

And secondly, I'm not going to ignore the insults you threw at me.

oh and editing out insults cos you know you shouldnt have sed them doesnt save you any face.

Yes, I changed that ONE minor insult. Since I thought it best not to sink to your level. Even though I should be giving you a taste of your own medicine.

I for one loved the entire Feral arc, and both of the artists on this book are fantastic. I wish they would trade arcs, however, not issues, for more uniformed storytelling.

Stegron is a personal favourite of mine, probably in my top 5. So I nearly pissed myself when he appeared. Great stuff.

IMO, this was the best issue of Sensational so far.

I really didn't get into the Feral arc... It had it's moments, but overall I thought it was tedious. And while Medina and his colorist are talented, his poor rendering of faces was so annoying, it was distracting.
