Regarding Batman's solemn rule about no firearms.. can he do a bow & arrow?

Probably, I mean, he's got no problem with God Guns and laser pistols.

I've just finished reading the Teen Titans volume where Beast Boy is framed for murder by a mysterious stranger who takes his appearance(who of course turns out to be Gemini, daughter of Madame Rouge whom he inadvertently killed). There are a number of things that seem not to make sense to me- wouldn't Beast Boy realize that he was being impersonated by another shape shifter-and there are only SO many in the whole DCU? Also when he discovers that Gemini is behind his framing, he mistakes her for her mother(presumably come back to life- despite the fact that he must seen Madame Rouge's dead body and the fact of death being medically verified-assuming that a metamorph like her can be declared legally dead?). Gemini goes on about her mother's life and her own birth but makes no reference to her father. Also since Rouge explicitly forgave Beast Boy before she died, regretting her criminal career, shouldn't that have been good enough for Gemini(who of course had inherited not just her mother's shapeshifting abilities but also her mental instability) to say"let bygones be bygones".
In one scene, Beast Boy morphs into a rhino and smashes into Gemini( who is fortunate not to be impaled on the beast's horns or be crushed to a pulp- as she would were it not for her ductile body)- as he tries this trick twice, wouldn't it be obvious that it was ineffective( Gemini's recuperative abilities seem to cancel out any injury caused by impact). "You can't beat me..I've trained my entire life for this!" she cries. "But I, young Jedi, am the master!" is his reply "You wish- I'm better than you'll EVER be!" she retorts. As age and experience usually count for more than youth and relative experience(How OLD was Gemini at the time anyway- barely a legal adult) it's NOT surprising that he won!

A) It's comics people come back to life all the time.

B) How is she supposed to know that her mother forgave Gar? She didn't have time to write it in her will? Maybe she also wrote something about the castle ARRGGGGGGG while she was at it?

seriously though, this should probably be in the stupid questions thread.

Yeah, I don't think we can really call it a "solemn rule about no firearms" anymore. He just doesn't like them.

He also owns a s**tload of regular guns anyway. It's just as important to him as his 1st edition book collection.

Since we're getting a couple of Black Lantern Ted Kord coming our way in a few weeks. What does that mean for what we saw at the end of issues #10? That couldn't be Ted if he's coming back as zombie? What do you gurus think about this one?

Time Travel and alternate timelines. He's dead, no question. If theres a Ted Kord running around not dead, then that's a ted from an alternate timeline where he was saved by Booster Gold.
You can't change the past.

 For the Holy Grail reference.

Okay, so I've got a Supergirl #1 I bought a couple of years back, and I've just realized it's going for 140 something dollars in Ebay and it isn't even signed by no one or in some super protective polybag, just like mine. Should I hold on to that in case it's value grows or just sell it now?

The original Supergirl series or, like one of the many, many restarts?

You might as well use that to wipe your ass next time you run outta toilet paper, cuz that's about all it's good for.

In that old story by Alan Moore called Mogo don't socialize, Tomar Re said he'd tell the other lantern about the "really" big lanterns one day. Anything ever pan out from that?

Why would anybody pay over $100 for that Supergirl issue? I very much doubt it's worth that even in the fancy-shmancy "official" price guides. Maybe that eBay seller just got lucky and found a particularly dumb sap who decided they really, really needed that issue.

Well, Blackest Night is based off of some old throwaway line Moore came up with during his run, so it's entirely possible that Johns or somebody may do something with it. Maybe he already did. How big do you think a sentient equation is?

I want to know more about the complex math equation lantern.

It probably has more personality than Hal Jordan.

I was wondering the same thing about Azrael (in BN3). I didn't get the issues, but I thought he came back already. Or is this a different Az?

Sounds like they are ripping off Roger Zelazny.

I'm not familiar with his works. The complex math equation lantern was from the Mogo story Moore wrote in the 80's.

Something to the effect of...
"Or blahblah, who is a Green Lantern who is nothing more than a complex mathematical equation. Of course, no one can see him, but the guardians seem to know he's there." -Tomar Re.
