Did Batman ever work with the original Question and if so, what did Batman think of him?

There's a Batman/Huntress/Question miniseries I'm pretty sure.

Did they EVER explain exactly how Barry Allen came back to life?

From what i know, he didn't die. He was running away from death the whole time, or something like that.

Too bad, he probably would have made a good Black Lantern for the "Blackest Night" event.

So the Question and Batman were on okay terms? Did the Question ever try and figure out the identities of other heroes?

Nekron did send a black ring his way, but he was able to outrun that too.

I don't think he really cared. He had more important things to deal with.

Ah okay. I've never really had an interest in the Question, but after watching his JLU appearances and reading 52, I'm starting to have a new appreciation for him.

Ehhhh...

The Question is a cool character and all, but the version of him on JLU wasn't really the same as what you'd have found in his old comic series. He's not a borderline insane conspiracy-obsessed weirdo in the comics. He's inquisitive and extremely focused, sure, but not like what you saw on TV. He's more of a zen crime-fighter with the mind of an investigative gonzo journalist. Well, post-Crisis. Pre-Crisis/company merge, he was more of a mouthpiece for Steve Ditko's Randian Objectivism.

A pretty good percentage of the people who are interested in the Question these days got interested because of the cartoon. Which makes it all the more idiotic to me that right after all that great stuff with him in the cartoon, DC decided to kill him off in 52 and shoehorn Renee Montoya into the Question identity.

As I much I enjoyed Renee Montoya's character arc and the way they handled the Question's death, I would've much rather that he had lived. I was reading 52 in the volumes so throughout Volume one and two I was like "Man, I've been missing out on this Question character, I gotta get in on this." Then I got to Volume three and it was like "Well, crap."

Speaking of Volume three, I wasn't around to talk about this when it came out, but:

Isn't that Kevin Spacey and the dude from Scrubs on the cover?

You mean Zach Braff? Yeah, I think it is. Who's that supposed to be? If that's Elongated Man, then... that's not the worst casting suggestion I've ever heard for the character.

I think that was supposed to be Doc Magnus. Which would make it one of the worst casting suggestions ever for the character...

Who would make a good Doc Magnus?

How good is Tennet's American Accent?

Yeah, it's not great. Ooh, how's James Callis' American accent, though? He'd be an awesome Doc Magnus. I can just see him munching on that pipe with a vague air of sexual frustration as he looks at Platina.

I'd probably say Kyle MacLachlan if it were a few years back. He's probably a little to old for it now, not seen him very recently

David Tennant? Ehhh...

Oh noes... I've heard Yanks complain about Brits doing bad American accents before when I think they're spot on but that is the worst! That is like Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins bad!

He played the Captain on How I Met your Mother. (Which was awesome.)

He's back for the final season of Desperate Housewives as well. He looks older, but like most actors, he doesn't look his age.

He sported an American accent on Eureka. It's not bad at all.
