I think a Joker spin-off could be great, if handled well by a director who is actually competent.

Something like Natural Born Killers with Joker and Harley instead of Mickey and Mallory would be absolutely brilliant if done well and not directly copying that classic film.

I disagree. If the character is interesting enough to do a film about them and the movie is done well it can work.

Villain spin-offs are one thing, but a Joker spin-off? Come on...sounds like an idea some greedy movie execs would have after having seen the Joker in TDK, just looking to milk the money cow. "Oh wow people like that! Hmmm let's make a movie with only him in it...ooooh millions! *****."

Rattner is a fool. If this isn't enough to convince AT LEAST comic fans of that, then why don't we let him direct Watchmen.
