Well there was something talking about how Topher loved playing the character Venom...so if Venom was mostly CGI, then to be able to play that character he would have to do the voice of Venom, so maybe thats what he's referring to.

I think the role of mindless mute monster is being set-up for Lizard in a sequel, Venom will talk. When Brock has the symbiote on you can't see his face, so how would Peter know it's Brock if he didn't say anything?

GOD DAMN YES - and it should sound like multiple voices and high pitched and low pitched at the same time. I want Venom to be so scary I'll break down in tears.

Venom need's to talk, he always has in the comic books, why not in the movie? No he doesn't have to go into a great deal about having the power of the sun in the palm of his hand, but i'm going to assume he wants revenge on Peter/Spidey. But Venom needs to talk, I see no reason why he wont.
