The Community lounge has been a staple of the Hype for quite some time now, but it has only been within the last year to 2 years that the lounge has become its own clique. Now I don't see there being a problem with cliques on the Hype... but this is a boring clique. Other community regulars don't post in there for a reason, it's because the lounge is boring. It is a safe refuge for newbies though, that is a good thing, due to it's chatroom/neutral state.

Personally, I see the lounge as a place where the current regulars "hide" out. They may post in different areas of the forums... but the fact that other community regulars don't post in there as well is a telling hint that the lounge is just no longer a fun place to post (aside from the regulars who seem to have a blast in there).
