Ah I see, but some doesnt mean all; hell I dont know what to believe anymore. Thanks Miranda.

Me either which is why I'm hanging up the spoiler cape. Too confusing and I want to be surprised. :hyper:

I like it this way too. Pure speculation to keep us going until the film is finally released and then we'll know everything for sure:up:

Nearest thing I could find.

itsthebatman did you hear that they filmed scenes with the tumbler in mondello park?

Oh, I don't believe it's come from anywhere new for a second, just regurgitated rubbish. The Batpod not coming out of the Tumbler contradicts what people in Chicago have said, and the videos we've seen

Video's WE'VE seen!? There are videos that tend to suggest that the batpod comes out of the tumbler? Wherefore arth they?

I heard they were scheduled to, but not sure if they actually did. Do you have any more info on it?

I haven't heard a thing? Maybe when they're over in London they might come over here and do that bit.

ALthough at the beginning of shooting there was talk of them filming in baltimore down in cork, and it was confirmed on BOF.

I would HAVE to see the tumbler if it's in mondello. But why mondello? WHy not any other race track? In fact, why a race track at all? DOn't even get me STARTED on the whys of Baltimore.

"But all too soon the serums and the shocks took their toll, and the dear lad began to share such secrets with me, secrets that are mine alone to know... Bruce. It's true batsy, I know everything. And kind of like the kid who peeks at his Christmas presents I must admit it's sadly anti-climactic. Behind all the sturm and bat-o-rangs you're just a little boy in a playsuit crying for mommy and daddy. I'd be funny if it wasn't so pathetic. Oh what the heck, I'll laugh anyway. HA HA HA HA HA!" - The Joker

I think the HUGE twist is that Jett is actually Alfred Pennyworth :o

We haven't actually seen the Tumbler pop out, it's partially an effect. But both the Tumbler and Batpod are part of the chase along the same road and people saw the Tumbler explode, and the special poddy Tumbler.

Well I guessed that we wouldn't actually see it pop out. Are there any clips of the tubler exploding?

I'm calling the new car the batmobile in the 3rd film, I don't care.

They saw the special poddy Tumbler emerge from the larger tanky Tumbler? Holy Tumbler Grumblers Batman!

I think it's going to be a big shocker for the general movie going audience.

Well said. And as another poster said, this changes everything. Remember when Lois was "killed" in the first Superman? A poignant moment, but then they had to take it back. THey just could not go through with it - they had to pander to the audience. And you know Spiderman is going to save Mary Jane. But if you want gravitas, Batman is going to have to lose once in a while. Of course, he did lose you parents, and Nolan made you feel that throughout the movie. But that can't be the only obstacle. Nolan wants to show Batman's struggle, and it's not a struggle without overcoming real loss and failure. Nolan is not afraid to explore and show the consequences of Batman's chosen path. He respects the material, and the audience, enough not to take the safe and easy road. That's what makes him so admirable as a director.

I agree with you that Nolan should have a lot of artistic leeway, but I think most of us don't want him to kill a character crucial to the continuity. Batman might be the only one that applies here, but I think it extends to Gordon and Alfred as well.

The good thing about Rachel Dawes is that even if you like her, she's a disposable character.

Let me tell you a little story about SLASHFILM and how reliable they are.

I was one of the writers for "Dawn of Extinction: Jurassic Park IV", a fan script that I wrote with a JP buddy of mine back in 2002. I was a young guy back then. Fan fictions were okay. We had posted it on Dan's JP3 Page and people read it, enjoyed it, loathed it, what have you. Well, earlier this year the script is leaked as a real screenplay. My work's all over the internet, being sold on EBAY, and torrented the hell out of. SLASHFILM was one of the countless websites that picked up the news. They didn't even cofirm it as the real deal. Someone had to email them to tell them it was a fake. So, that's how reliable SLASHFILM is. It's a joke.
