Ok, Question if the lizard appears in a movie. Should he talk? post your answers.
I think that the voice should be less human but still able to talk almost like angry gollum from lord of the rings. As he turns more and more lizard he will loose his voice. Like this "Spider-man Die, Must die" now picture that in a wicked raspy creepy voice. Also should he retain any looks of the actor who will play Doc. Conners (like eye color)

No I don't think/or should resemble anything like what the actor looks like. That would be like John Candy as Chewie in Spaceballs....

You know I would not care who the villain will be in SM 3,
I would not care if he ate a goat,
I would not care if he owned a boat,
I would not mind if he did not have hair,

Even if you don't see the villain you want it to be......

I think the hissing shouldn't be too exaggerated or it's going to be kinda cheesy.

Yeah and annoying. Maybe as much lines as DARTH does in ROTS. So it's not so repetitive.

Sorry if this has been posted, but does anyone know if Raimi said he'd have a CGI for the Lizard or have A guy in a suit? And does anyone know if Lizard'll be modeled after Ultimate Lizard or old school lizard. Just curious.

ummmm......are you implying that Lizard will be in SM3 because there has not been any info on the villain.

So until Lizard has been confirmed for any movie, there probably won't be any information on that.

To answer your question hypothetically, if the past has anything to do with it, it would probably be CGI. Maybe use a real actor to express the regular movement and facial expressions like Gollum in LOTR.

I thought Raimi said that the actor who played connors was in for 2 movies.

Just to bring the good old SM3 Lizard thread up to date, here's the Dylan Baker blurb from the MTV.com article on Avi Arad...

Arad will then target "Spider-Man 3," due in theaters in May 2007. While insisting that rumors of a simultaneous third and fourth "Spider-Man" movie shoot are simply "not true," Arad did confirm that Dylan Baker will return for the third film — a noteworthy nugget for comic fans who recall that Baker's handicapped character, Dr. Curt Connors, went on to become Spider-Man nemesis the Lizard in the comic books. Although Thomas Haden Church and Topher Grace are set to play the main, as-yet-unnamed villains of the third film, the seeds are apparently being planted for Spidey to also someday take on a superhumanly strong, green-scaled monster.

Unless there's a big surprise in store, it looks like we're getting Dr. Connors this time, but no Lizard....oh well.

All this news is really confusing me. It seems the significant supporting cast is growing by the day. Raimi may just have everybody showing up in Spider-Man 3 come 2007. What if Raimi is going to do a mirror event like Peter graduating from college in 3. This would call for Conners to be around.

Sooner or later we are going to start hearing rumors about all these blondes being added to the cast. This will then trigger Slag to blast Black Crappy I mean Black Cat and all the Gwen Stacy fans to perk up. Maybe Sam has Felicia, Gwen, and Liz show up.

Head spinning with all the possibilities.

So, Baker is going to be in THREE movies with still no word on a possible upgrade to full villain status in the future?! That is ridiculous! Fish or cut bait!

What about Harry then?! Is this strategy making any sense to anyone?! Not me. I see no logic in having Baker set up for two movies and then shunting him aside AGAIN for whatever whippersnapper Grace is going to end up playing. And is Harry not going to be resolved? It's enough to make you throw your hands into the air in disgust. Senority!

This seems like the best place for my 8000th POST, so I'll just say that I'll be looking forward to Sony's official SM3 villain announcement, whenever that might come.

I'm actually kinda happy Lizard won't be in SM3 because it leaves more oppurtunity for Kraven and Lizard in SM4 which would be cool.

I don't want Kraven ccramping up Lizard's stype personally.

I hope Lizard kicks ass in SM4 because outside of GG he is my favorite Spidey villain and imagine my disappointment of him not being picked, but Sandman (my guess), who is not that good a villain at all...

I digress I hope we get Lizard in SM4 and Arad to just sell more toys and cash his money-****ing ass in doesn't **** up the franchise and Venom character and rush him in so he can get the ultimate happy meal pay off. Hopefully Lizard in SM4 with a set-up for Venom in SM5.

Just my hope though.
