I can see Church as Lizard/Conners. I think he could do family man that is desparate to find a cure.

Originally, before Dylan Baker was cast as Connors for SM2, I was thinking about who might be good for the roles of Martha and Billy Connors.

At first when I thought Curt would be played be a late-thirties-aged actor, I thought of Naomi Watts as Martha and Jack Revello (from The Hours) as Billy.

Since Baker looks like an older Curt Connors however, I've rethought those roles and come up with:
Diane Lane as Martha

and David Dorfman (from The Ring) as Billy.

As long as Raimi is directing, that will never ever happen.

That wouldn't happen period. Sony would not let a director show that, as these movies do have a kid audience to target. Blaming Raimi for something that wouldn't happen anyway is just stupid, as Sony is targeting kids anyway.

Of course not. He's going to give us a friendly, sewer dwelling half man/half lizard thing. It was simply a comment of course, it would've been neat, but since alot of the audience will be youth, it's unacceptable.

Raimi chooses the villians and story and that determines alot.

Raimi hasn't been sanctioned much power at all. In fact, its more or less the same situation from when he directed the 1st movie. Sony just has a little more faith in him and thats where it stops. When it comes to the money, Sony are up Raimi's ass like a wedgie.

I was on the Spider-Man ride in Islands of Adventure (Orlando, FL). They should re-design it with GG and Lizard replacing HG and Scream.
