I'm hoping like hell that he is, I would love to see Connors' wife Martha and his son Billy, and maybe Peter working as his assistant after school; or a substitute teacher for him during school, or perhaps both.

Connors development, his family's, and Peter's relationship with Connors and his family, in SM3 could definitely give us a clue as to how serious Sam and Sony are about the Lizard in a future SM movie, perhaps SM4.

That said, I could see him being a cameo/token appearance again in SM3, and I could still see him (Lizard) being in SM4. SM3, IF Sandy, Hobgoblin, and possibly Black Crap is gonna be one busy little bee, not to mention Pete/MJ, Aunt May, JJ, Bugle, John Jameson storyline to tie up too.

It's all about priorties, I guess. Just wish Raimi's weren't so srewed up IMO.

I'm not too worried myself. I asked for a lot in SM2 (including Lizard) that I didn't get, but I still had a good time at the theater.

This picture alone, would have me more excited about a Spider-Man movie with the Lizard, than any of the rumors we have for SM3 so far.

They should use this picture as a promo movie poster for the Spidey movie to come with the Lizard. Sweeeeeet.

I think they should do us all a favor and put BOTH Venom and Lizard in Spider-Man 3, but make it with a twist. Have the symbiote make its way on to Doc Conners. Now that would be awesome.

If the Lizard was in the movie and grabbed spidey like that in the movie,do you think they would have the Lizard bite him with those razor teeth,or would that be too violent too put into a spidey movie?

I don't know if Venom and the Lizard would be right in a film together, but I do think Lizard would do well in the same film where Spidey got the black suit.

I love the green Lizard, but if Lizzy and GG2 are in SM3, then I'd probably go with a black or brown-colored Lizard.

I personally don't have a problem with the Green Goblin and the Lizard both being green.

I see the Goblin being the same green he was in the first film (http://www.moviecritic.ca/reviews/2002/spider-man/green_goblin_01.jpg), only with more purple. Saying you have to change the color because you can't have two villains in green is to me like saying two bad cowboys can't both wear black hats... one has to be brown or grey or something.

Why a trench coat? Sure he looks like that in the comics but it would be better if he didn't have trench coat.

Lab coat, not trench coat. And I would imagine they would make use of the tattered lab coat to minimize the details of the CGI, as well as not having to address the "Lizard Bits" ')

As I said before i believe Lizard would have made a good story line. Kinda like that one Spider Man comic (cant remember the issue #).. Have it very dark, the lizard would be more of a mindless, killing machine, not the intelligent wanna turn everyone into lizards.. People are showing up in the hospitals, or just found dead.. sewer workers run in to the lizard (one manages to escape to tell the tale). So SM has to save the day..well... he gets trashed.. barely survives after an amazing first battle. He manages to crawl out of the sewers (or back alley or whatever)..falls unconcious, wakes up as he is in an ambulance being taken to a hospital.. one paramedic wants to unmask him, the other (perhaps a woman) says no, they should respect his secret.. SM being a good healer find himself well enough to get out of the ambulace and make his way home where he stays for some time whie MJ is all worried that next time he might die, and she wants him to quit..so now peter must make a choice between MJ and saving people.. and then when he eventually chooses to save people, MJ has to deal with the choice of leaving Peter or accepting he might not come back someday...ect..ect.

I see but I never liked the coat.

They would only need the CGI for the facial movements of the Lizard and for his action scenes.
