Someone was not lying on these boards...Part 2

Somebody, I forgot who, came to these baords a little bit after the teaser and posted a description of the trailer we saw that was pretty damn accurate. Read my post to see his description. I still can't seem to find the original thread though...probably an admin deleted it.

Just wanted to point that out to you guys since we all doubted him at first...

Some of the stuff he talked about, happened almost the same way in the trailer. But he could have put the whole thing together through speculation....

I work for a Market Research company and we recieved new trailers for "SM3" never before seen at comic-con or in theaters.

In the first part it confirmed that Flint Marko is indeed Uncle Ben's killer. Peter and Aunt May are called into the precinct and Peter gets a glimpse of his picture. Peter storms out of the precinct pissed off screaming asking what appears to be Captain Stacy, "He's still out there and you didn't do a thing about it?"

Then the trailer cuts to how Flint escaped, ends up at a radiation plant, and then the animatic was hard to make out but he starts transforming into the Sandman. He looks at his fingers and they start perspiring into dusks of sand, before reappearing in front of his eyes.

Next it cut to Peter and MJ on a web cuddled up close and making out. Peter is ready to propose to her and things look great, till he starts flirting with Gwen, recieves the new suit and feels top of the world.

Then the trailer cut to Spider-Man Appreciation Day and shots of Spidey swinging around, leaping and jumping tall buildings, and doing his pose by an American flag, but then...

Harry comes up right behind Peter Parker as we saw in the theatrical trailer. His mask is a retractable, collapsable mask, and he shows his face and says, "You knew this day would come..." and flings pumpkin bombs, rockets, and razor bats at him.

Then, the trailer cuts to MJ and how she wonders why Peter and Harry don't get along.

Then, next it showed Spidey in the black suit being followed by Brock. Brock starts teasing him, snapping pictures, Spider-Man then grabs the camera, and smashes it against a wall.

After that it cuts to Brock teasing Peter before Peter grabs him by his shirt collar and pushes him against a wall angrily.

Cuts to MJ wondering what has gotten into Peter and he says, "I don't know but I got to stop it..." and then it shows the infamous Comic-Con fight between Spider-Man and Sandman and he asks him, "Do you remember the name Ben Parker?" and Sandman tells him to, "Stay out of this kid..."

Lastly the infamous Venom shot is revealed and it cuts to "3."

It was amazing guys I'm telling you and it just confirms alot of the stuff that was on the boards.



originally posted in August. I remember too. the poor guy got bashed, but not by me. I always give people who post rumors a chance. and this one, turned out to be true, and it's wasn't luck either, or by putting news together.

i remember when some guy from asia posted about the Sm2 teaser trailer, about harry with a knife, about Mj telling peter to kiss her, and he got bashed senseless too. lo and behold, the teaster ame out and that was exactly the same thing.

wow that is really crazy everything is like the same i dont tend to believe people on boards alot though cause suddenly everyone works at a movie theater or know smeone who wroks forsomeone and all that crap so yea its hard to believ what people said but this is an honest guy here and good job for finding it....

Clearly he wasn't wrong. They do edit these things, so the Venom shot was merely shifted. Several shots from the trailer he described were changed. But he gets too many things right to merely be speculating.

I was another person who thought this guy was legit. His description was too sharp to be faked.

I'm not ticked about Venom not being in it and I'm not trying to be a 'negative'.

I was ticked at first but I got over it after thinking about why he wasn't shown and I'm kinda' glad Raimi is holding his scenes secret.

i wasnt that mad when venom wasnt in the official trailer, i wish he was though, but, he was in the leaked trailer and when i saw him i got really excited, both the official trailer and the leaked trailer are great.

This was months ago, when they probably were still in the rough stages of making the trailer. Just because it had Venom in that trailer doesn't mean that he was making it up.

I remember I gave that guy the benefit of the doubt then. He pointed out some things that he probably couldn't have made up, which makes it seem like he was telling the truth then. Such as when Harry says "You knew this was comin' Pete..." which wasn't in the Comic Con trailer or the original teaser.

The guy who originally wrote the synopsis was close enough that I can certainly admit I was wrong. You can't apologize for doubting it though. Out of 1000 people posting bad info, 1 was finally right.
