Sutter said at the beginning of the season that Tig would go "good, bad, and ugly" at the beginning of the season and at its end so I expect that Tig isnt dying. If he does he isnt going quietly.

And he will say "I got this" by seasons end.

Pope said whoever kills him will have a $5 million bounty on their head, does he dissociate from the club to kill Pope therefore giving up his life. Although its hard to see all that happening in one episode.

Im not sure whats going to happen, but they have been too on the nose about Tig dying for me to believe they will actually kill him off. If thwy do it will be to cement the type of person Jax has become.

I still cant figure out why Pope wants Tig dead. He burnt Tig's daughter alive. That made them even. Then he got Opie. And he still wants Tig? Pope is being greedy and its another reason I dont see this going his way.

You said you haven't seen this nights episode right? Pope said that sometimes revenge is what you need to satisfy that craving even if its not good business. He wants Tig dead or to suffer more and he doesn't care how pointless it is.

Jax did the same thing when he killed the black guy who killed Opie. He has strained the relationship with another MC they are close with but he didn't care.

Correct. I havent seen tonight's episode. Well that explains that. This cements for me that Pope's greed, bad business, wont go his way tho I dont think Pope is going to die anytime soon.

I cant quite figure out the Jax/Pope relationship. At times it seems Pope is grooming Jax.

Jax is treading dangerously into Anakin Skyywalker territory, with Pope serving as Palpatine.

Fun fact: Charlie Hunnam (Jax) auditioned for Anakin for AOTC and apparently was one of the top choices.

And yet we ended up with Hayden.

Jax is a piece of ****. Cant believe he did that to Wendy.

He was protecting his kid. Was it cruel? Sure, but it's definitely true to his character, doing anything for his family.

I was surprised to see Clay get booted, that makes things really interesting and he's great that he lives. I was absolutely expecting someone to die this episode. Juice or Tigg were my top picks. It's so hard to tell what Jax has going on in his head, but it wouldn't surprise me to see him give Tigg over to Pope.

The U.S Marshall (ret.) is a cool guy so far, I can't wait to see what he has in store.

Maybe you rethink how big you get your club tattoos in your next club Clay. :word:

That was really hard to watch, Clay might want to pick up a few tubes of neosporin.

there was just absolutely NO reason, justification or defense for what Jax did to Wendy...

of all the shee-it that he's done or HAD to do, that was the most reprehensible...

"protecting his family" my ASS...

Jax just became the biggest a-hole last night because of that...

I don't know how the storylines will end up at the end of season 7 and what will become of Jax and the rest of the MC, but I'll bet anything that one of the last scenes in the last episode will be set in the future with a grown-up Thomas and Abel reading their dad's diary, much like Jax read HIS dad's papers...

whether the MC still exists or whether it imploded remains to be seen...

I'm sure Jax will feel repercussions for everything this season, sad truth but everything Wendy said to Jax and Tara was dead on, just how much of a wake up call do they need. Tara is a waste of her former self, and can't just blame the hand anymore. I've said it before, it's all like The Godfather, doing worse and worse crap in the name of getting out of the game. And I'm saying Nero, is setting up to be a crazy future wildcard, just having that kind of money around this whole time, how quaint, sad cause I really like Nero, but just getting that future club enemy vibe from him lately.

Also did Jax destroy or lose his Dads original journal papers, not his letters about his foretold death, but on his views of the club and how it should be run?

He wasnt protecting his kid. He was being selfish. Protecting his kid would be leaving the club. Jax is in no position to have children.

you guys are upset about what he did to wendy? I was expecting bullets through her head.

Excellent acting by everyone through out the entire episode, Juice practically had tears in his eyes when he voted Clay out.

And this Tig thing is very tense. I want so much for the relationship to endure but the only way is to wage war on all fronts.

Also I am happy that the Irish Kings haven't gone away, as I like the actor who plays the lead Irish King sort of a Jason Statham hardened criminal thing that's really fun to watch.

And what was up with the US Marshall's bag of pill bottles setting at the foot of his bed?

And that book he was reading, "Watchfiends and Rackscreams" by Antonin Artaud, is very interesting. Antonin was a poet of the 19th century who advocated the "Theater of Cruelty". Which is the cruelty it takes for actors to show an audience a truth that they do not wish to see. He liked to

remove aesthetic distance, bringing the audience into direct contact with the dangers of life. By turning theatre into a place where the spectator is exposed rather than protected, Artaud was committing an act of cruelty upon them.

He wanted to put the audience in the middle of the 'spectacle' (his term for the play), so they would be 'engulfed and physically affected by it'. He referred to this layout as being like a 'vortex' - a constantly shifting shape - 'to be trapped and powerless'.

That fits this show quite well.

One of the poems in the book is titled, To Have Done With the Judgment of God.

I know. I thought for sure she wasn't going to make it to the end of the episode.

In his own way he was absolutely protecting his kid. Do I agree with what he did? Of course not. But it's true to his character. After everything he's done, all the crimes and other generally reprehensible acts Jax has committed I just think it's kind of odd that ruining Wendy's career is the thing that turns people against him.

None of the characters are good people. They are all criminals. Depending on where you draw your own individual moral lines they're all scum bags. With the exception of the kids I'd have a hard time finding a single character who hasn't done something questionable, at the very least.

So Jax stuck a needle in Wendy's arm and will report it to her employer. She'll get fired and have to move on to something else. Would Jax be getting as much hate if he'd just outright killed her?

Should he up and leave the club? Obviously, he should have done that years ago. But that's not who he is. I'm not agreeing with what he did, it was a horrible thing to do, but it's hardly the worst of his crimes.

I agree with all of this It does show that he has an ounce of mercy left in him, though -- he didn't outright kill her.

But its still pretty cruel. She actually became clean but he basically spat that back in her face. At this point I can't ever see Jax letting her near Abel. She might even lose the will to even care anymore, afraid of what he might do.

Do you realize what happens to a person who relapses on heroine? She will most likely fall harder than she did the first time she was hooked. Everyday since going clean multiple times a day she will have been fighting the addiction. It never goes away. It is a constant battle. And Jax just fed that addiction. She is most likely going to relapse hard and terribly. Jax pretty much undid all her progress and potentially killed her anyways. All because he couldnt see how far he has fallen. Because he thinks "I got this." If his children were truly more important to him he would burn that club to the ground before he would let it jeopardize his children. Instead he has chosen the club. Wendy was in the right and Jax was far from it. Yes Jax has done crooked **** and killed people but it has been gang and club related. This was far outside that circle. This was damning.

He is even doing this to Tara. Last season it was all about getting out and Tara and the children being safe. Now Tara gets the job offer and what does he say, "Not now." These second chances are rare and yet he passes it off like the club is more important. Jax is losing sight of what he wanted because he has tasted power and in some way he admires the power Pope has. Jax is heading down a dark road.

The scary thing is and I cant believe I am saying this, but the writers are setting Jax up to be worse than Clay. I think that may have been their plan all along.
