What if Jax takes out Gemma pretty early-on, and Nero finds out, which leads to a final showdown between them?

I don't see Nero caring all that much.

Seems to me that would the kind of thing Nero would accept. Not be happy about, but it wouldn't be unexpected in the least. He knows enough about Gemma to understand that someone, particular someone from her own family, getting revenge for something is always a possibility.

Given all the **** Nero learned about the Teller family, he's probably washed his hands of both Gemma and Jax.

 

[Sawyer]

I just have to wonder how unhinged Jax will be by all this. Sutter has said that Opie and Tara were his two anchors (I'm not sure if those were his exact words, but you get the idea). With the both of them dead, will he be so far gone as to let the club burn? The only two people that I could imagine giving him pause would be Bobby and Chibs. He'd probably burn Gemma, Juice, Unser and Tig alive with his own two hands by the time this is all over.

Oddly enough I think I'd trust him to protect the kids over practically anybody else on the show.

My wife is convinced that Margaret will end up with the kids if everything goes south for Jax. I feel like he survives and manages to leave with the kids, but we'll see.

oh, lord god, the choices ya'll are making for those poor kids...

I'd say that Happy is a good bet and maybe Bobby if Jax doesn't make it.

if things go bad for Jax, then in all honesty, I just don't see anyone directly connected with the club becoming the legal guardians of Abel and Thomas... I just can't figure out who WOULD be able to take custody of the kids... the only person I could see possibly going for custody might be Jax's half-sister in Ireland...

I don't know why this just popped into my head, but I really want to see Edward James Olmos on this show.

Hmmmm, he would be pretty cool to see in this world. He was a total disappointment on Dexter though....

Was it ever explained why Piney, one of the two founders of the club, was never the club President instead of Clay? Was it his health issues or did he just not want it?

I think it was a combination of both. An honestly, I think they only let him stay a member for being one of the original 9. With the way they acted about Clay's arthritis and how he couldn't be president if he couldn't ride I wa always surprised Piney was even allowed to be in on everything the way he was. I mean, he rode that goofy three wheel bike but everybody made fun of Bobby when he wanted to ride the fat boy which still only had two wheels

I don't think he ever wanted to be at the head of the table... Besides, with the way the club was going when J.T. died, Clay had the votes, not Piney... And if he had ran against Clay, I'm sure Clay would have put an end to Piney a lot sooner.

Piney also had just about Zero ****s to give when it came to anything other than jack Daniels or Jim bean. He joined up well before the club was what it was when we came into the story and it seemed he never had intentions to lead because he was never planning to.
