Anybody know the name of the song?

It's a U2 song, can't remember the name off the top of my head.

*Edit* U2 - "Bullet in the Blue Sky"

Just enough to make me want more. :D I'm ready!

Looks like SOA broke it's streak of getting completely dicked over by the Emmys. They got a Music and Lyrics nomination for "Day Is Gone".

True Detective probably plowed over everyone else, lol. :p Too many good shows, someone's going to get passed by.

Maybe Sutter will get a GayVN nomination for his Otto prison scene at the start of the last season...?

Sons of Anarchy will start is seventh and final season on Tuesday, September 9 at 10 p.m. The premiere will run a whopping hour and 45 minutes. No word from FX on how many of those minutes will be dedicated to musical montages.

FX also announced that "Anarchy Afterword" will air live on FX after the premiere and after the series finale. The Chris Franjola-hosted show will also stream live on FXNow three other times during the season.

:awesome:

well, that's the first that I've seen and heard for sure that it IS the final season... no more maybes or maybe-nots...

I've never really put much stock in this NOT being the final season, at least not with the way S6 wrapped up. That felt very much like the prelude to the final act.

I thought as much, as well...

I had heard awhile back that Sutter's plan was for seven seasons. Besides, they're running out of main characters to kill off and the end of S6 struck me as the beginning of Jax's final descent/fall.

Less than 2 months until the premiere...I can't wait.

I guess Jax does end up in jail for the murders of Tara and Roosevelt. It might be an ep or two before he's cleared.

Maybe or he broke parole/went to prison for a short while trying to avenge Tara.

Well technically, wasn't he was turning himself in anyway?

Regardless of what happened to Tara, he went to the house to surrender in the first place.

I'm gonna be so pissed if that six-hundredth ****ing NCIS spinoff stops CCH Pounder from coming back to SOA.

I hadn't even considered she might not return for the final season. Her character can't just up and disappear and recasting would suck. If she doesn't return we will storm the gates of CBS together!:argh:

The Press Release for the Final Season has the synopsis.
In season six Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) has finally solidified his leadership of Sons Of Anarchy by murdering Clay Morrow, his stepfather, for past sins. Season Six ends with his formidable mother Gemma committing an unpardonable sin. Unbeknownst to Jax, she brutally murders his wife, Dr. Tara Knowles, thinking she’s protecting the club. Juice Ortiz kills Sheriff Eli Roosevelt to protect Gemma. Season Seven begins ten days later with Jax in jail on a parole violation, grappling with the loss of the woman he loved. With the club’s full support, he sets in motion the brutal machinations that will lead to complete and merciless retribution.

I thought time jump was gonna be a lot bigger.

I prefer this, makes it more raw.
