Sons of Anarchy - Part 2

Well, that's a wrap for Tara. If she's going to pull a Shane Vendrell. Let's leave the kids out of it. Assuming Jax doesn't know about Gemma's role in John Teller's death. Might as well let him know now.

Sucks to be a bike if your owner is Juice. lol

Everything could go in the Sons favor next week. They officially get out of the gun business after Clay is freed. The Chinese come in and kill Galen for the club. No blow back on the club from the IRA. The DA has her trophy. Somehow after that entire mess is settled, August gets what he wants & Tig lives.

Just precautionary measures to make sure he stayed in place til this deal went down. It didn't phase him. He was happy to be there. :o A good meal and some cartoons. The Chinese looking at him like he's crazy.

I think it was Sutter himself that said "A little bit of Happy goes a long way." That character needs all of ten seconds to say something memorable per episode.

Speaking of August, did they ever address why he let Tig live? That could be something that blows up in the aftermath of what they are dealing with now.

August never actually planned to kill Tig. He only wanted to see if Jax would deliver Tig when the time came. It was a test of loyalty.

I'm still not totally convinced of that. Something about that whole situation seemed really off to me. This show generally doesn't do the whole megatwist thing really, but I wouldn't be surprised if Tig gave up the truth and is working something with August. That was all swept away a little too quickly and quietly.

Great episode!

I'm really looking forward to next week and the breakout of Clay, should a lot of fun.

I agree, I think August told Tig that Jax set him up because there's that unspoken tension between them in the next episode when Tig asks Jax if he knew anything about the situation and Jax lies to him. I think Tig is now in August's pocket somehow.

Would be surprised if Tara is around next season...

Pretty much what I'm thinking, too. I can't believe August would let both Clay and Tig walk with pretty much nothing after having such a hard on for killing both to avenge Pope early on. The smell of fish surrounds it all.

I feel like that's kind of the obvious road to take at this point. I can see a wrench being thrown in the mix soon.

I agree. Tara getting killed, or even killing herself, is the easy way to go. Sutter's bound to bring something wild out of left field to shake things up.

Tara's reaction to the DA no longer offering her a deal was fantastic. It was as if all of the air was sucked from the room.

Reading these last two pages, someone might think you folks are talking about a daytime soap, a violent one but none the less.

It explains the addictive effect the show has.

They have made Tara into an interesting character.

I remember Clay's breaking point not just being drugs with the mexicans but also the beating he gave Gemma the woman he held most dear.

Now they are painting Jax as walking the same path, will he go past that line like clay and hurt the one he is closest to. I dont think our hero will.

When Gemma said, "my son loves deep, and hates deeper". I half expected Tara's response as "No Jax isn't Clay".

Well Tara found out Jax jammed a speedball into Wendy's arm, something she would never have guessed he'd do. How can she safely guess what he might do in any given situation? It's like she doesn't even know him at all anymore. :(

I did think Tara claiming to know Jax better than Gemma does was a pretty bold statement. I'll put it down to emotional stress causing her to blurt things out, because I don't think anyone would reasonably believe that anyone knows Jax better than Gemma.

I don't think it's entirely unreasonable to assume. At one point, Jax really was going to leave the club and Charming with Tara, and that was something that really shocked Gemma when she found out. I think both women are underestimating how much the other knows him, but Tara has definitely seen a side to Jax, the side that wants to get out of the lifestyle, that Gemma hasn't and doesn't seem to understand.

I think there's 2 more episodes after tomorrow.

Are you sure? I'm not sure that would even matter.

yeah, I checked it out and boulder's right, there IS a week off, which actually surprised me, as they usually run thru an entire season non-stop without any break...

That blows. :(

I guess it makes sense here. The season finale is Dec 10th. That gives them only one Tuesday night (Dec 17th) without a show because Christmas Eve and New Years Eve both fall on a Tuesday this year and most shows are on hiatus those nights. The following week, Jan 7th, is the season premiere of Justified.

Let's hope the show gives us plenty to chew on tonight for the next two weeks, during the break.
