Sorry, wrong number

There was one time where I got a phone call where my caller ID showed my own number. I answered and someone claiming to be me from the future warned me to "not follow the red circle" on a particular date. It was weird.

Also, I used to get a number of voicemails from this same guy trying to get ahold of this same lady. The last one I ever got went along the lines of "Hey, Sue it's Bill. I'm sorry to hear you're in the hospital. I hope everything is alright. Bye."
I wonder what happened..

I do however, have to say, you are going about thing in a way that works. If you don't like what's on TV, just change the channel. The problem comes in when you flaunt it in someone's face. Putting someone on ignore, is one thing, telling them you are doing so, is petty.

Here's one from last year...

So it was a Monday around 12ish...summertime...

Me, sleeping in when my phone rings. I don't recognize the number so I hang it up, go back to sleep, no big deal.

5 minutes later, I get another call, same thing...hang up/sleep.

Another 5 minutes, another call...now i'm pissed. So I answer the phone and go, "STOP CALLING ME JERK OFF!!!!" and turn off my phone/sleep.

Get up around 3ish, turn my phone back on, I have a voicemail...

"Hey um Bill, its John um...listen, I don't know what's goin on buddy but I've been trying to call you cuz i'm kinda lost. I'm on 880 North on the way to the site but I kinda need some direction. I don't know what that last call was all about I mean, you okay? I just really need some help right now man...call me back, i'm really lost."

My names not Bill.

I felt bad then but then kinda found it funny...I'm sure he found his way..

First of all, I didn't even realize the guys situation, I never talked to the guy...I just responded the way I did because a number that I didn't recognize wouldn't stop pestering me.
