Sequels Spider-Man 4 and 5 Shooting At The Same Time?

How is it useless if I'm a) talking about what I was hoping for as early as Spider-Man and b) has to do with the pacing of the sequel? I know Raimi probably won't bring him back. That's why it's an example...

its all but official, i know that sounds silly... but seriously every producer and director and writer has made some kind of reference or personal preference to the lizard, not to mention the fans. and dylan baker.... and if its over 4 AND 5...
i know im the only one, but i think if they adapted the clone saga over two films (The ultimate clone saga version, not the "classic" version)... it could be cool

I'd personally like to see Lizard/Kraven held off until the final film but during these films continully build up to the point at which Dr. Connors finally becomes The Lizard. Make him a key character in these 2 films and finally let him become the villain in 6, I think that would be a great conclusion to the franchise.
For Spider-Man 4, I'd like to see the Hobgoblin play as the main villain who sets up Ned Leeds(Daily Bugle reporter) as being the real Hobgoblin and Scorpion as the secondary villain to make the story arc centre around the Daily Bugle more with Peter becoming closer friends with more characters like: Betty Brant, Joesph "Robbie" Robertson, etc.
For Spider-Man 5, I'd like to see Scorpion die in the forth with Hobgoblin and Chameleon as the new villain, Chameleon is sent to infiltrate Dr. Connors after sources hear of news on Connors making some kind of "miracle" formula(which in the sixth he finally tests it out on himself). This film will deal with the death of Gwen Stacy and the return of Mary Jane at the film's conclusion along with one of Dr. Connor's experiments gone wrong with the escape of one of his lab rats(a little intro to The Lizard in the next film) who was used for the testing of the miracle formula.
And finally for Spider-Man 6, The Lizard finally makes his debut, Kraven is then sent to capture or destroy The Lizard himself. At the conclusion of the film, Peter and Mary Jane finally get back together and quickly decide to marry one-another as soon as they come together again.

Sounds good to me. Now that it's a two-film deal, they'll be able to take on more villains at a time and it won't matter because, hey, there's another film they can take the story too!

I say Raimi comes back as a Producer, they recast the main stars... then go with villains such as Lizard, Kraven, and maybe even Carnage making an appearance (done to make up for Venom's short appearance).

But focus MAINLY on Lizard and Kraven! I dunno... Black Cat and Mysterio would both be nice...

Who knows... I'd say only stick with 2 villains, but they've got two movies... why not 4? :P

I just had a thought... what if Sony's planning on a two-movie Sinister Six plot? That might not work out as well... villain teamups in films hardly ever work... I really hope they don't do this... but now that I think of it, it makes sense that SONY would think of Sinister Six as the "only possible route" for a two-film bonanza... now that I think of that, I don't know if this IS good news... :|

I have to say, I was never a fan of Kraven, but I'd love a fight between Lizard, Kraven and Spider-Man.

Then, another side of me wishes that we only have The Lizard, so we can finally return to a closer knit story.

Well, if you ask me, I don't think Shocker should be in any Spidey film except maybe a cameo. Don't get me wrong though, Shocker is awesome.

take a look at Spectacular Spider-Man.
they had Connors injecting the serum in himself for two episodes...then, in the second, Electro accidentally modified it with his powers, giving it a "boost". having Lizard in 5.
maybe something like this happens?

i always thought in the spidey movies would be best for spidey to fight B/C/D level villans in the montages that show spidey fighting gangsters or muggers yknow?

like have him take on the rhino, or shocker or something... just neat cameos for the fans cuz those are villans that will never be the center of a spidey flick.

Has it been confirmed yet as to when Spidey 4 will be released? I haven't heard anything beyond 2010.
