Color me impressed! Looks like a perfect live-action Mysterio costume, only thing it needs is the fishbowl and we're good.

Seriously: majestic purple cape, the big eye things holding the cape up, gold arm gauntlets, the green... all you need is that bowl.

Yep, but it's also the most crucial part. Imagine how good it could look if they do the bowl right.

TBH I don’t know much about Mysterio except for his looks and from the various cartoons. I hope JG plays him with this frightening menace that’s genuinely creepy and scary akin to his Nightcrawler role but not sure if this is how his character truly is in the comics?

Yeah, it's impossible to tell what the actual color is on the body suit. Hopefully it's green ( Sony/Marvel should've had a high res pic before hand).

I hope the Stark suit get's damaged and Parker has to mend/repair it which is why we get a black and red look.

Looks more like Mysterio than Vulture looked like Vulture. Spider-Man PS4 had basically the perfect movie design to me.

By the way, Vulture does indeed still look like a version of Vulture in Homecoming, I'm not saying he doesn't resemble Vulture, it's just that the full mask kinda takes away the imagery of a Vulture to me, having this naked bald head at the top.

Hopefully Mysterio has his fishbowl, or a fishbowl like helmet, because I'm pretty impressed with it so far.

Vulture looked cool... but he didn't really look like Vulture. Blah blah he had a coat with the feathers around his neck and some big wings, looks barely anything like the Vulture BUT he looked cool.

Yep, but it's also the most crucial part. Imagine how good it could look if they do the bowl right.

All I want is that bowl, and don't have him take it off for 90% of his screen time either. Vulture had that helmet for a fair amount of time in Homecoming so I'm hoping we're in the clear. Then again at this point I don't know why I even had any doubt Marvel Studios would be able to pull off Mysterio with panache. Guess it was maybe because of the updating they did with Vulture, but part of the charm of Mysterio is he's supposed to look grand and ridiculous.

One of my favorite Spidey villains, hope they do him justice character-wise, too!

The key to the Mysterio costume is if they can make the headpiece work. That's the iconic part of the character's visual. I won't be sold until I see how they pulled that off, at least in terms of the visuals. I have no doubt that Jake can pull something off great and if they did with this character what they did with Vulture it will likely turn out to be something really good.

Because he looked badass and intimidating, something the comic version never did? I don't understand why you are getting defensive. I much prefer mcu version of vulture bad I don't think that's an unpopular opinion. I was able to take vulture seriously for once. Also the nods to thrnfighter pilot bomb jacket were far better than the green unitstd he has in the comics.

Yep, I'd be disappointed if we didn't get sufficient "bowl-time" in FFH.
