No one knows for sure but it's starting to look like she won't be in it. Maybe her character has been replaced by Nick Fury and/or Maria Hill.

Judging from what we know, it looks like Mysterio either replaced Drew or was the character Spidey was teamed up with the whole time

What bothers me about Sony is that they're doing this whole alternate thing where they're using potentially good characters for the MCU. I don't mind Venom, I never liked that character, but if they start using Kraven, Chameleon, Spider-Woman, and who knows what else, I'm gonna be pissed.

I know...when I think of the possibility the MCU can't use Hypno Hustler & the Mercy Killers, Spot, Walrus & Rabbit, and the Wall, it would burn my britches.

They can still bring back Scorpion to be the big bad for Spider-Man 3. Ock probably won't be on the MCU Sinister Six lineup and that's a huge bummer.

Well yeah but coogler wanted to use Kraven for black panther. i don't think the Sony deal would allow either way. it would probably have to be within a spider-man movie to warrant marvel being able to use him.

And even then i don't see marvel getting to half the spider-man character gallary by the time they finish hollands 3rd solo and last cross over movie. just by choice alone since they are already full ahead.

The issue really comes down to when the deal stops being profitable for both studios. and at some point marvel will wanna move away from Spider-man solo movies and that won't profit sony for them to do so.

No, they have these elements creatures called the "elementals" that was revealed last week. Fire, water, etc. It's probably Molten Man, Hydro Man, etc.

it just depends if they turn out to be real or not. problem with them being illusions is if the "elementals" plot carries alot of the movie it kinda makes everything kinda pointless if they didn't really exist.

Not really. That's Mysterio's whole shtick, making you believe something is real, it's what makes him deadly. It's not like the threat will be any less, they're still attacking cities and people, only it's all by design for Mysterio to look like a hero. Basically what Syndrome's plan was in The Incredibles only it'll work.
