Looks good. Mysterio looks awesome. As with the last film I dig Peter/Spidey and Aunt May. But also as with the last film I still can’t stand the rest of the cast of high schoolers. In particular Ned who IMO is not funny at all. Also still not a fan of this pseudo MJ.

But looking forward to the other stuff with Spidey, Mysterio and Fury.

Loved the trailer. Regarding the Elementals, while more than likely they are just illusions or whatever (since we're dealing with Mysterio) wasn't there a leaked Lego set info that specifically called out Hydro-Man and Molten Man in those sets?

I definitely remember Hydro-Man being mentioned before.

Yeah, I love May and Holland as Peter. Gyllenhal will probably kill it as Mysterio who looks great as well but the rest of the cast I can do without especially MJ.

Not sure about the Euro trip angle and fighting giant monsters. I think adding Mysterio would have been enough to set this apart from previous Spidey films. Also, the HappyMay subplot left me cold.

So is Mysterio European?

He's a decent enough actor but imo one of the worst possible choices for Flash. And no, it has nothing to do with his race or skin color...

Good trailer. Glad the movie kept the high school vibe from homecoming. SLJ is king, just from the trailers the fury in captain marvel seems so different from the fury in this and it looks like I'm going to also enjoy his scenes with peter. Mysterio looks good.

Good point. There is a huge and interesting contrast between the two. After a few light years on the Fury front he will have a very high profile this year with 3 consecutive films in a short time.
