Far From Home Spider-Man: Far From Home General Discussion and Speculation - Part 2

I’m excited. Looks good and finally we got some nice looking Spider-Man movements because that ending with him running up the wall and flipping off was so damn cool. Hopefully the action in the rest of the movie can match that.

All in all I’m hyped.

Only issue I’m having is I’m tired of the iron spider suit with arms. Then again I’m tired of all the techy suits period lol but whatever ...great trailer .

I would absolutely hate if Mysterio is not an illusionist. That would ruin the entire character.

I'm not worried about it. I have no doubts there is sleight of hand at play and nothing about what is going on is as it seems. It's Mysterio, and it never is with him. Why I am not taking much of this at face value.

I'm still kind of meh on it. I will see it but it doesn't really feel like the next level progression after Homecoming. And I really wish they threw out a line about who among his friends got dusted and who didn't.

They are all the same age so I guess they all got dusted.

I liked the trailer. It seems Happy Hogan has loads more scenes in this sequel.

Same here...except I love the Iron Spider suit! I was hoping they wouldn't ax it in the movie. The action in this preview looks incredible, the cop scene was hilarious, and I cannot wait. It's Spider-Man, so I would see it regardless...but this looks very promising. Kind of like MJ's deduction about him being Spider-Man...pretty funny. Either way, I'm all in.

I just don't like the idea after what we've seen in Endgame, everything looks back to normal. Venice looks like it does today. Flash is still a dick, even though you'd think he'd be less petty after having seen half the world disappear. The fact that he still is makes me wonder why his "friends" still keep him around.

I'm not expecting this to be a heavy, depressing movie. But it seems like it's pretty much back to status quo with only a cursory nod to what happened after the snap.

True, but the introduction of the multiverse makes me a bit skeptical. Is that part of Beck's plan? Or is he fake but the multiverse isn't? Seems kind of confusing.

You never know. It's not like they were going to force that down our throats in the trailer

I loved the trailer! We all know Beck is going to be the villain, but there's going to be a twist and nobody knows what it is yet. Spider-Man looks great, I love all the different suits. They didn't give away anything while still getting everyone HYPEEEEE! Already bought 8 tickets for opening night July 2nd, can't come soon enough! #iLoveYou3000

Mysterio is known for being an illusionist, so I am wondering if the mulitverse thing is a scam. I am thinking he is likely lying.

I have avoided the plot leaks, so unsure if plot leaks confirm this is real or not.
This. I think that's what they're doing. I rolled my eyes at the multiverse thing -- not a fan of them introducing that in a Spider-Man film.

We know for a fact after Endgame that the multiverse exists now.

How else is Sony going to get Holland to show up with Venom once they don't want to play nice with Feige anymore? Plus this means Holland can voice Spider-man in the animated sequel next year.

Nice trailer, dont trust a single moment of it with Mysterio in it, lol, but thats the beauty of the character. Loved the opening scene with the cops too, Homecoming was decent enough, hope this is even better as I love Hollands Spidey/PP.

The best illusions/lies/scams and such are based in truth. Hence why they're so believable. So my take is, multiverse is real but Beck is scamming them.

Multiverse means this Spider-man and Venom can be in a movie together someday if they want I guess.

I love that scene with the cops as it demonstrated the playful side of Spider-Man which hasn't been shown enough with prevous movie versions of the character. I like this trailer and I'm intrigued to see how Tony's death has effected the world. I wouldn't be surprised if either Fury or Beck were lying about the multiverse... but I think Beck is the liar.

Mysterio is so full of s*** I love it.
It's amazing knowing he's portrayed as a protagonist to the GA who doesn't know who Mysterio is. Even my girlfriend thought he was cool... I'm just sitting there like you just wait until he betrays you.

This. I actually saw venom for the first time yesterday and enjoyed it. Nothing earth shattering but definitely better then the reviews made it out to be. So I do think this multiverse situation opens the door for a real legit Spider-Man venom movie.

Saw it too and it did about what I thought. The first half was actually interesting but when Venom finally showed up it felt so rushed and poorly developed.

It’s not so much the suit that I dislike. The look is fine. I would just prefer some
More traditional red and blue action. I don’t even mind the black suit in this movie. One thing I do dislike is all the extra suit abilities and stuff. Just give me some simple spandex with two Web shooters and call it a day already.
