Far From Home Spider-Man: Far From Home General Discussion and Speculation - Part 2

Why is superman using his legs to stop the train?

Well that seems to be the image they always go for with Superman. probably to show how strong he is. its the classic superman image.

BH imagined Superman in Spider-Man's shoes in that scene cause the post he quoted of yours mentions Superman.

That whole train sequence was quintessentially Spider-Man. Superman would have ended that sequence before it even got started.
Indeed.
"Ock, where's MJ?"
"Oh she'll be fine, let's talk"
*Tentacles removed with surgical precision, no heat vision involved*
"I'm listening"

Or even before that. Diner abduction is done, powers are back, no delay in finding Ock and saving MJ.

Tom Holland said they filmed something that’s gonna whip the rug out from under people and afterward he asked Jon Watts if what they just filmed is gonna be okay and Watts said some people are gonna hate it.

MJ is the chameleon.

You know, everyone is mad about the "world needs a new Iron Man" line because they think it's referring to either Spider-Man or Riri Williams, but...

You mean Rhodey? He did it before Norman in this world.

Does the "I always feel like I'm putting my friends in danger" line sound spliced together to you guys?

FFH will be the only chance to see a post snap world. The next movie hasn't even been announced. So Sony is setting the template for the future MCU
I think they are only setting up a piece of it. Disney and Feige won't give Sony that much power in setting up the MCU. GOTG3 was suppose to set up the future, may still be the movie that does we don't know what is after Spidey.

Iron Patriot was already in a movie. Just not as Norman Osborn. Keep Norman as Green Goblin

I agree with this part, and mentioned the rest a few posts above.

I do, however, like the way they made Norman change to that in context of the events he was involved in, makes perfect sense there, and is good public image for him

Iron Patriot was already in a movie.
Look... Ned Leeds is Ganke, Mary Jane is a dork named Michelle, Flash is an even bigger dork than her and Steve Rogers may have f*cked his niece.

Nothing matters anymore. If Marvel Studios want to make Norman Osborn the new Iron Patriot or the new Iron Man they will. I'm not saying they will, but it's a possibility.

But again, the Iron Patriot title was already used (an armor we literally just saw Rhodey using a new version of in Endgame). That pretty much writes off that possibility. Unless they want to give Norman a new armor and new title, but there is no point really. He's best known as the Green Goblin anyway.

So Mysterio from the multiverse is actually a Peter Parker who went down a different path. When his Tony Stark died he got more into tech and ditched his Spidey powers.

And Nick Fury is the Chameleon in this.Cause Spidey killed Chameleon's brother Kraven in his universe so Chameleon travels into all the multiverses to kill all the Spider-Mans.

What did you smoke?

Who made this suit now that Tony's dead? Is it less techy?

Keep this idea away from here please.

I think it would be safe to say you could ignore a bunch of things that happened in Iron man 3 and no one would riot.

They are not going to ignore that. They validated IM2 and The Dark World in Endgame. The MCU is loving itself hard right now :o

Beautiful! I'm telling you this is our next billion dollar movie!

Most likely! I wonder how much money Marvel Studios gets versus Sony.

Either way, if this does a billion I don't doubt that Sony will want to renew/extend their deal with Disney/Marvel.

And they pushed Uncle Ben to the side...

I agree with you to an extent. Yeah, the MCU is very much its own thing. It is not connected to the comics and so they just do whatever they want. As long as it fits within their plan and assists the story...the movies are highly entertaining and well constructed.

But I disagree about the Iron Patriot. Because Rhodey already went there, I just don't see them going there again and this time its Norman.

And they pushed Uncle Ben to the side...

Because he's dead, no? At this point, doing constant callbacks to Uncle Ben would come down to ad nauseam repetition, considering that he that simply won't be factoring into the story anymore. Anything meaningful Uncle Ben-related, outside of some sort of retcon, we've already seen in previous films that aren't that old yet.
