Movie less than a month away. Going to give Sony 10 more days to release some good Preview Night tickets, if not guess I'm doing it old school midnight showing. Completely blind on it right now besides the 2nd trailer which I was once. Holland is my favorite Parker/Spider-Man so he makes it easy to get excited for.

I've got to wait until the weekend following the release. Which was the original date until they decided to move it to a day when I'm working. It's not a big deal--I usually have to wait to see stuff anyways and rarely see movies on the opening day anymore. But with the original release date I looked and saw that I was actually off and got excited cause I was like, I may get to see this on the first day!

I will see this opening night, God willing. Wife and kids are out for the summer, so there are NO excuses. It's Spider-Man, dang it!

Does somebody know who Toni Garn is going to play in Spider Man? On IMDB she is listed as character the Seamstress?!? Is the Seamstress a Marvel character?

I would like to think they would, but it's looks like they want that whole Tuesday slot which will be a big opening.

Usually an IMAX poster is supposed to market the scope of seeing it in IMAX but what do I know?

I'm hoping they don't rely too heavily on the whole "Mysterio is doing good stuff to look like a hero" gimmick. Yes, it was interesting in the comics, but IIRC it was a one-time thing, and it wasn't even that prominent. Don't get me wrong, I'm still seeing the movie either way, but I was really hoping we'd see some really trippy illusions now that Mysterio's finally in a movie but, oh well. There are always future sequels to show us that stuff.

I'm also really gonna miss the red and blue tech suit; at this point, it seems like they're moving on from that specific suit, which is a shame considering I really liked the whole modern-twist-on-classic-design angle they were doing with the character. Hopefully he makes a new red and blue suit, at the very least. But I LOVED that suit.

Marvel has such good posters...the Raimi films had such good posters...and even the teaser was cool. These last few posters look like the Wal-Mart room posters you buy for 3 bucks. Just...lame.

They sure have revealed a lot of this movie in the trailers. Sheesh.
