Far From Home Spider-Man: Far From Home General Discussion and Speculation - Part 2

Major F U to Grace Randolph for posting the Spoiler Talk video already, a day earlier when it opens over here. As usual, the thumbnail is already spoilery but this time the video title itself is as well. Plus if you accidentally move your mouse over it, more stuff is spoiled! Tomorrow, when I get back home from seeing it, I'm about unleash a whole load of expletives on the comments of that video. :argh: :angry:

Can't stand that buffoon.

I really don't know why people care about whatever she says. I feel like people post her videos in every forum, and I don't care to give any of these the time of day. She won't get any $$$ off clicks from me.

I don't care what she says I have her blacklisted but I do care that she ruined the movie for people though in her spoiler video thumbnail. Now I know it is time to stay off of YouTube.

I leave in an hour and won't be back until after the movie. So I basically have to dodge the interwebz for like, 58 minutes :o

I seriously don't get why so many people are fans of hers. She is a pure example of people who don't deserve to be called critics that took advantage of the internet era we live in. Thanks for the heads up about her being a typical b**** and spoiling things. It's why I tend to avoid Youtube before I see a movie.

Luckily I'm seeing it tonight at 10.

7:15 EST showing for me today! Leaving in around an hour and a half. I’ve stayed spoiler free! This is going to be a hell of an experience. I haven’t stayed spoiler free for a Spider-Man movie since watching the first one in 2002 for the first time.

People post it and then give her abuse. It makes no sense. They are the reason she is making a fortune and keeps doing it!

She always looks like she just rolled out of bed.

Anyway, I'm seeing it in an hour. I always get anxiety before a Spider-Man movie. Over-and-out.

Seen it twice now, I really enjoy this film and the twists and turns it provides. Mysterio was even better than I was expecting and I have to give that credit to Jake Gyllenhaal he really gave a great performance as the Master of Illusion. Tom Holland returns and continues to grow as Spider-Man. I think he's definitely on his way to becoming the face of the MCU going forward more so than Captain Marvel.

@THORin go tell your friend Grace I say she's a buffoon :p

Will do. :cwink: Thankfully, I didn't see her post-credits review until after leaving the theater.

Anyway, I saw Far From Home today, and OH MY GOD that was a good movie. Definitely broke into my top 5 Marvel movies - I described it as "teen romance meets psychological horror movie", and I think that description really fits. Tom Holland, as always, is such a great character to be invested in. Jake Gyllenhaal was
one delightfully dislikeable villain
, and Samuel L. Jackson & Cobie Smulders make a fine team, as always. Loved it so much. Zendaya was a little flat, I thought. Marisa Tomei and Jon Favreau are just ADORABLE. It's a very cute movie - when, you know, it's not also nightmarish.
And can we just talk about those post-credits scenes??????
:wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow: So, so like, Spidey is now on the run, I'm assuming, and he's armed with this EDITH tech, which is hugely dangerous, and then we've got Nick Fury up in space, what is he doing, why is he there, does this tie into the Eternals, or Captain Marvel 2, is Secret Invasion happening, what is going on, I am so confused!!!!!!!

Seeing the movie at 7:30 so in 2 hours and 4 minutes so looking forward to it! I went threw all 7 spiderman movies again over like a 2 week period with watching into the spider vs last on like sat to end it.

Welp, looks like I won't be seeing this until next week. I was planning on a Friday showing but I just picked up an overtime shift so that's a no go. Oh well. Glad to see such a positive score on RT. I'm avoiding actually reading reviews to keep away from spoilers.
