Comics Spider-Man Noir

Crime Master....I wonder why such an obscure character is used instead of more famous crime boss like Big Man...

To be fair, the Crime Master's appeared in more comics than than the Big Man has, and that isn't that much either way.:oldrazz: If it weren't for TSSM, not as many people would know who the Big Man was.

Im a bigger fan of the Lee/Romita era, but the Crime Master story is one of my fav's from the Ditko run and the Master Planner of course  good times.

Yeah after reading the interview, it seems like its going to be either the Big Man or Crime Master.

Great! Hine's writing is superb with this Noir line and coming from 3 months where the last mini ended, the establishment of the main characters are set and it's all good fun from here. The history lessons in this book really stands out and grabs you. The introduction of the villains and their depiction of this world are great and I was dead set hooked already on Robbie. I applaud the writing for the character, I can definitely sense his feelings and dialogue. And that ending truly got me pissed. Ugh!

Also, the last scene between Felicia and Pete was such a well written piece. Great art too.

Very strong opening issue. I've been looking forward to this since the first mini series. Looks like this sequel will top the first series. In EWAF, despite Peter's efforts that remove Norman Osborn from the streets, a new crime boss fills the power vacuum and is more ruthless than the Green Goblin. Then, behind the scene some creepy scientific experiments are on going, introducing several noir version of Spidey's rogue gallery....

The relationship between Peter and Felicia is fascinating, but a bit creepy. Peter seems to be wanting to seeking 'truth' love from her but Felicia seems like she's enjoying her night time a lot. And then there's Mary Jane, I wonder if anything will go on between she and Peter

Robbie Robertson. This guy is particularly looking for trouble when he starts investigating into Doc Ock's experiments and I doubt he will survive the series.

The new villains are great. There's nothing known about Crime Master yet but he looks menacing. Sandman and Connors are ok....Doc Ock, on the other hand, is a great re-imagining. A guy in some mechanical wheelchairs with arms, armed with scary doctor equipment. The last page with him is really spine chilling, and what will happen to the people....

Art is great...although some part the human face is a bit off (MJ

Now really looking forward to the next issue!
