No wrestling here.

I wouldn't be surprised if they cut the wrestling scene. For one, wrestling isn't very popular nowadays and this new series is all about keeping things modern and of course they also want to differentiate themselves from the other movies.

If they do use the wrestling angle, they should definitely go the ultimate route.

I guess in your mind neither is Spider-Man trying to put Uncle Ben's killer behind bars, eh? Nothing seems to be essential to you. And Peter/Spider-Man NOT learning what was taught to him by his Uncle, not essential to you, eh?

I don't think you'll have anything to worry with the reboot, in regards to this aspect.

Look at this pic from last months reshoots:

Someone delivered to Captain Stacy and the police (on wires, presumably webbed up) who looks like the same actor that shared scenes with Martin Sheen, a couple months back during shooting.

Hmm... ;)

Is that real, is this from the actual film? If so, is there more shots of that, there has to more than just one, eh?

Yeah, then there's the wanted poster in front of Peter as he's sowing his costume in the trailer, the guy looks identical. I think it's cool how he literally delivers the guy to the police, and gives him a mega-wedgie. :woot: The one thing that bothers me (and I'm a huge fan of the Raimi movies) about the origin in the 1st movie is how he made no effort to save the killer from falling to his death, sort of makes the whole great power/ great responsibility lesson moot I think.

Please let them play this scene with a dramatic flair.

Yea, the music can definetly change the tone. For the better.

I've liked the new suit from the start. The only thing that bothered me was the stripe on the leg, but even that's okay with me now. It's grown on me more since I started seeing the similarities with the Ben Riley suit. I LOVE the Ben Riley suit. Think the gloves have a lot to do with how similar the two suits look.

I loved Reilly's Spider-Man suit.

They did a great job redesigning the classic suit but with a modern twist:

It also got extra points because it was the suit Spider-Girl also wore as well.

Between this and the Scarlet Spider costume, Reilly had some of the coolest looking suit's around.

Btw, considering how tight it fights spider-girl, how tight must that thing have ben on Reily? he probably wouldn't have died of impalement, but suffocation!xD

When the f*** did Wrestling become not modern, especially since, you know, they did a film in modern day in the first film and kept the wrestling scene.

I don't want him to do wrestling. It makes no sense. Wrestling is acting. How does Spider-Man get into that without revealing his identity...or being an actor?!

By using an alias.

Oh, that would be cool! He could go by the name Ben Reily and his stage name "Scarlet Spider"!! HOW ****ING COOL WOULD THAT BE?!

Well, his proto-outfit actually sort of looks like a more modern version of Scarlet Spider. ....Sort of.

And Ben Reilly is a name he could easily come up with, using his Uncle and Aunt's names respectively.

Sony...don't disappoint. I'm assuming you went in time and saw me post that and realized that it was a good idea and put it in the film.

Right?

Good.
