The Amazing Spider-Man Spider-Man Reboot Costume Part 4 - "What's that in his eye??" - Part 6

I think the suit is perfect the way it is.

Ditto.

I think the suit looks fine as is. If Peter made little upgrades that paved the way for the suit to ultimately (no pun intended) look like the traditional suit, I'd be fine with that too.

I wonder how many cosmetic changes will be made to the suit for the sequel. Will it go into a more traditional look or possibly go even further from it?

I don't see the suit changing beyond the addition of an actual belt (like in the game), tbh.

That may be true. I do know, as probably you do, that the filmmakers/Marvel asked for the belt to be included in the game. Since it does take place after the movie you'd almost certainly think they may add this feature to the suit in the next movie.

Found this on deviantart.

This is a pretty cool manip. Maybe it's just the way he handled it, but I actually don't really like the belt on that suit, which, being a HUGE advocate for getting a belt in there, really upsets me to say.

Yep!

There's at least one scene in the movie where Peter runs out of web fluid.

So I think Peter will wise up by the end of the movie/the sequel and have a belt to carry spare cartridges.

And I hope they do, because I like it.

I hope we don't see that crappy ass belt in the sequel. It just stands out way too much on the costume. Plus...why, in the game, is the belt only from his hips? How does it keep itself on the suit when that's not even a full belt? Lol.

In the game it looks like he may have sewn the fabric of the belt to the actual costume and then added clips from which to hang the pouches. That may be the case with the movie belt, if added, or he may just wear a wrap around version.

After having an experience like that and given how smart Peter is, it's a given he'd come up with a solution to the problem. The belt is probably the way to go.

So Dr. Strange is helping out Spidey? Excellent.

That sounds like way too much trouble than to using an actual belt, haha.

So is constructing an elaborate costume too I guess. He could have just been ok with blue and red sweatpants and a red beanie cap. :woot:

Yah, but....creating an elaborate costume is far different than creating this weird half-belt when he could've simply used an actual full around belt to wrap around his body.

That's just how it looks in the game...at least that's how it looks to me. It hasn't even been mentioned how he will/would make the belt in the sequel. It's a lot easier of course to just wear a wraparound belt.

Man, the red in that pic is so vibrant it looks fake. Love that shade of red.

Do you think people would be pissed if his whole costume looked like that fabric?
Also, I think the sunglasses that he is wearing in that pic should have been orange, because then he could use that pair for the final mask.

That would be a brilliant move and add some continuity.

If he made the fingers all red, this suit would be literally 100% perfect. It fits Mark's vision and is practically the classic suit. (aside from the webs.)

I don't get the complaint about the gloves. I always thought it was one of the best parts in the new costume, looks edgy and parkour glove-like
